The barn is a local landmark and part of Mariemont's history. Purchased by Woman's Art Club of Cincinnati and converted into a venue for local arts and an art gallery. The concert was held upstairs (elevator or stairs accessible) in a barn loft setting - refined rustic. The acoustics were great and plenty of seating options available (as well as bathrooms). Check out their calendar of events and find an excuse to do some exploring yourself!

I came to check out the center to see the local art as I'm always looking for new places to check out art in Cincinnati. The center is in the Mariemont neighborhood, it started as The Woman's Art Club many years ago and has evolved into a neighborhood cultural arts center. This Saturday there were two art shows in the main gallery space, an art critique going on in one room, a kids art class with Cincinnati Art Academy Instructors in another room and upstairs in the recently opened barn event space was the official ArtsWave event an anime, magna art class with art fans of all ages. I met the Director of the center who said they're testing out the new space upstairs, it can be rented out for meetings, events and looking to serve the community more having more space in the center. While you're in Mariemont come check out the the Woman's Art Club Cultural Art center and explore.

Outdoor tented dining area, indoor dinning area, multiple bars, and of course the production area. The beers are top notch, many choices, and seasonal specialties too. We got a x-mas cookie and a home sweet home brown ale to enjoy with our meal. We shared a double Maryland burger with the fries. The burgers are themed for each state the I-50 goes through. The Maryland burger was cooked perfectly, delicious. The fries are outstanding, top notch, and they have a fry sauce that is a must order. Service was good, less than 5 minutes from order to ready to pick up.

The partnership is celebrated with a barbecue. The food itself, for this event, must be made by the Fifty West Brewing Company restaurant/ chef. It is on par with the food I have eaten there. The food was plentiful, and we ate way too much. Many of the side dishes were on the spicy side. Macaroni and cheese was creamy. The Slopy Nancy was a surprise. It was one of the vegetarian options. A mix of quinoa, chickpeas, carrots, and other vegetables, it was filling, a little spicy, a little sweet, and went well with the brisket. I wish I knew the recipe. It would be great as a Thanksgiving side dish. The brisket was tender. The desserts ( brownies and bread pudding,) were decadent. All items were made with quality ingredients. Based on what we ate, I would look forward to going to this event again. Maybe I should have started with the beer, as this was brew and Que. A wide variety of brews were available. Some where on the traditional side. Others used less common ingredients like sweet potatoes, and Buddha's Hand. It was an interesting mix. I really enjoy seeing creative beers at events like this. The sweet potato went great with the barbecue. It became very bitter when consumed with the desserts. The people who work the event were awesome. They all remained upbeat and positive the entire event. They interacted with the attendees when they could. Towards the end of the event, they were definitely able to do this more. They seemed to be enjoying the event as well. Production Works is a great space for such an event. While it was crowded, it did not feel overly so. In terms of crowdedness, it felt like going to any Brewery on a Saturday night. I think they capped the event at a good number. There was enough room for people to move around, and enjoy themselves. People were welcome to walk around the grounds. A couple of fire pits were set up outside. Later in the evening, they were particularly enjoyable. There's something about sitting outside with a wood-burning fire.

This was a charming and cozy hotel. We like the theme and decor. Having an earlier check in (3pm)…read moreand later check out (12pm) was much appreciated. The space in the room was great for us with the drawers and sofa bed. The tv hidden behind the painting maintained the aesthetic. The shower handle made a strange whistling noise and the temperature fluctuates. The tv was finicky too, sometimes it would turn off on its own and others it wouldn't turn on at all. All in all, it was a great stay and we would stay again. The National Exemplar was great for breakfast too.

I wasn't even sure if other people were on our floor until we saw folks coming down for breakfast. The room is beautiful and actually pretty large. The only thing that was a little weird was the coffeemaker stored in the bathroom but there is free coffee and tea in the lobby 24 hours so it wasn't even necessary to pull it out. They have a cute little shop you can purchase snacks in addition to a bar and restaurant on-site. While I love a complimentary hotel breakfast, the breakfast we had at the in-site restaurant was one of the best meals of our trip. Parking is free on-site. The neighborhood is incredibly walkable and there are so many restaurants nearby. I would definitely stay here again if I was in the Cincinnati area.

I really like this movie theater!…read more First, the concessions area is great. The popcorn actually tastes like it has real butter instead of that super artificial oil flavor. They also have a small bar, so you can grab a glass of wine with your movie, plus the usual candy and snacks. And if you're a popcorn person, you can get a seriously huge bag. I saw someone walking out with a massive family sized bag and honestly respected it. The theater itself is very cozy and has that vintage charm you don't get at newer places. Even though it's small, it didn't feel stuffy or cold inside. I was totally comfortable in shorts. The seating is classic old-fashioned theater seating, no recliners or fancy upgrades, which honestly kind of adds to the nostalgic feel. That said, if you're looking for a super high-tech movie experience with perfect projection and luxury seats, you might want a bigger theater. The projector was a tiny bit oversized for the screen so a sliver of the image was cut off, which wasn't terrible but did catch my eye. Still, it didn't ruin the movie. One thing I loved is that they show older films, reruns, and niche movies along with new releases. It's a fun place to see something a little less mainstream while still having a cute date night in the heart of Mariemont Village. Overall, it's a charming, cozy theater that feels special in a way big chains don't. Perfect for a casual date night or a relaxed movie evening after getting dinner in the village.

The employees were very friendly & helpful and the theater & bathrooms were clean and well cared for.
