She refused to listen to me about a prolapse and talked to me very condescendingly. She told me without even looking that she didn't think it was possible for me to have a prolapse. She continued with the exam her way instead of checking like you should for a prolapse. I had to call my primary care physician to get help! Who confirmed that I do have prolapse. I will be lookin for a new office. I can't imagine having this woman deliver a baby. Since having this happen I have talked to several women who also had issues with her treating them similar... please do not go to this woman!

I have to agree with miranda g. I delivered a son 18 years ago and unfortunately dr howell was the…read moredr on call. She was horrible and I cannot believe she is still practicing. She went to take a nap while I was trying to push, my son was turned face up and was stuck. I pushed for 5 hours and nearly become unconscious. When she finally returned she tried a vacuum and that didn't work and then she used forceps. My son was born with a large hematoma and my insides were severely damaged. She left that practice before my four week check up. BE CAREFUL!!! My son is ok and there were not any lasting damages but it took me about 12 years to get my intestines back to normal.

It takes days to get a callback. Then it will be put somewhere in a to do pile where he might find it a day or two later. I understand that it's a good thing not to be the most needing patient, but when you are told you will get a call in order to figure out the next step, three days after you were supposed to get that call is mentally exhausting.
