Travels need to stop here and try this place!…read more We found this wonderful gem by the airport on our trip into Auckland. We had a wait for the rest of our group to arrive by plane and we're starved. The food was fantastic and everything on the buffet and brought to our table was superb. The service by Manish and his service was even better. Clean, wonderfully unique and overall a great experience. Here's the best review overall. My 70-yr old mother was with us and an extremely picky eater. She ate everything served and went back for more. Don't get any better than that.

Bad aspect of this was that they ran short of plates actually sitting out by the buffet for you to take for your food so you had to ask eventually when you needed one. Good thing about it being so busy was that they cleared the tables of any dirty plates very quickly, but not return so fast... The selection of food to choose from was really good , both cold and already cooked, and though plates could be lacking there was always ample food to choose from when you went up for 2nd's or 3rd's...etc.. A couple of grills , as there is, per table is good enough for a full table of people The atmosphere is good within ,plenty of parking outside and it is kid friendly if you have them. Amongst all the Korean BBQ places i have been into in Auckland i would reccomend this one first. There may be better out there, just i have not been to them yet. Enjoy!!

Staff were all very friendly and did a great job keeping everything clean and well stocked. Coffee, tea, and hot chocolate can be ordered with your servers and are then delivered to your table. Other drinks are self service including water, apple juice, pineapple juice, and even fresh squeezed orange juice! The pastries were disappointing, but everything else we tried was delicious. The made-to-order omelets and waffles were expertly cooked, and we also enjoyed the bacon, triangle hash browns, fried rice, yogurt with mango compote, and fresh kiwi fruit. They even have honeycomb and chocolate fountains! Breakfast price was NZ$30 per person as part of our room package. NZ$40 per person otherwise. We thought it was well worth it and would definitely come back on our next visit to Auckland.

Amazing selection of Korean dishes and BBQ items as well as a selection of small cakes for desert. At $30 for adults and $15 for kids it is a steal. As far as buffet food goes it's reasonably good, but as is often the case with a buffet some of the food just suffers from being out too long. In this respect Buffet House has declined markedly from a few years ago - I was once sick off something here for this reason. The service is also pretty average, and the premises in general are dour and in grave need of a makeover. It also isn't that cheap anymore. However one thing keeps this place popular and that's the seafood selection. I swear you just see people come in just for an all-you-can-eat in prawns and oysters sometimes! The oysters are just enough to sway me to give this place three stars, but it's a close run thing. Call it a 2.5.
