This was my first visit to this salon as we were going shopping at the nearby Asda over the road,…read moreand I needed to get my 20 month old sons hair tidied up. I looked through and it was full of pensioners and was kitted out in a very old fashioned style with bright orange plastic padded seats and had a very dated 70's look about it, still, i asked if they did kiddies hair and they said yes and that we could be seen straight away. The haircut itself was ok, the girl doing it was polite and while it wasn't the best haircut he has ever had it was acceptable. However, stupidly i now realise I hadn't asked how much it was before I sat down and I nearly fell through the floor when I was charged £9.50!!!! Yes that's £9.50 for a small toddlers hair cut which took all of 5 mnutes, I couldn't believe it, it is only £5 at my local salon for men and boys and £6 at the barbers and yet it was £9.50 in a blue-rinse brigade salon on a little row of shops round the corner from a council estate in Wakefield, if it had been a city centre i would have understood but these people are having a laugh and I will never be setting foot in there again.
