Ewa is the best in the business. I've been going to her for the past 15 years and won't let anyone else touch my hair!

My experiences at Emvee have been incredible. Ewa is an artist who improves the look and the condition of your hair with each appointment. I appreciate that she provided a thorough consultation that gave me realistic expectations (how blonde I can go each appointment while minimizing damage) as well as a plan for ongoing maintenance. Booking appointments is easy (text), and there are helpful appointment reminders. Need ideas for your next color? Check out her portfolio on Instagram (how I became a fan and then client). When I leave Emvee, I know I look my best and more importantly, I FEEL my best. Thank you for creating such a lovely experience, Ewa. read more

Amazing!!! Such a blessing to find someone that can do Asian hair like a Pro!!!! Ewa is a boss!! Don't hesitate!! Book TODAY!!

I found Ewa on instagram a few months ago and have gone to her a few times now, definitely won't ever go anywhere else! I have naturally dark hair that I had recently dyed dark black/blue when I had first started seeing her. I wanted to begin my journey to blonde and it has been wonderful! She's taken the steps to make sure my hair doesn't become damaged and it's been coming along just the way I'd imagined. I get compliments on my hair all the time! You will not regret coming here! Also, Ewa is hysterical and so much fun to chat with while she's working her magic, I always look forward to our appointments! read more

I am so grateful to have found Ewa and Emvee Salon! I'm always very hesitant to try new hair stylists after a few bad experiences... but this was definitely not one of them! I'm newer to the area and needed desperately to get my hair done. It had been almost a year since I'd shown it some love - because I'd honestly rather have sad hair than trust a new hair tech with my locks (because that makes sense). Anyways, I took the plunge with Ewa and I'm hooked for life! She did an amazing job bringing my hair back to life and was super knowledgable about what to use on my hair to make it healthy again - a true pro! On top of the fantastic work, she's an awesome person! I've decided to make hair appointments more frequently just to hang out with her again. read more

I highly recommend this salon, owner Ewa is phenomenal at what she does. I have personally had my hair colored, trimmed, and had a formal updo done for a wedding. Ewa did a fantastic job both times and I will continue all my hair needs with Ewa. She is very professional but also very personable, the time flies when she's doing your hair! Her salon space is very clean and decorated very cute! This lady is a hair artist. read more

Impossible to get an appt!! I've tried contacting them for 2 years using everything but smoke signals and not one text or call or email or fuck off or anything. Obviously they don't need my $275 every 6 weeks for the number of years I go there plus all the products I buy. They could have replied with not taking any new clients but they are not a PROFESSIONAL COMPANY with morals, ethics, values, etc. and customer service excellence is foreign to them. It's 2 girls who went to beauty school and now rent space in Woodridge with 20 other chair renters. I called Lola by Gina in Geneva and Gina is booked until March 2020 BUT they still called me back and they have texted me several times this past month to let me know when they have cancellations with their other colorist. That is how you treat a client. Remember..with no clients, then no money and then your little rental space goes under for non payment of rent. Clients are what allows you to live comfortably im sure so don't just ignore someone for over 2 years because That will turn into a reoccurring habit and then you have a few clients left. Consumers reading this..try Velvet Roar whose in Woodridge or Reflektion in Naperville or Rocco & Rocco In Hinsdale, Lola by Gina in Geneva, Ruby Abbott at Elate Salon, Nikki Moon Salon in Naperville, Artistic Creations in Naperville, or Linea in Wheaton or Glen Ellyn read more

Ewa is my favorite hair stylist! Truly the best around when it comes to cut and color- especially for long hair like mine. I've known her for years and watched her grow into a talented professional who really cares for clients and loves her job. She's been doing my hair regularly for over 3 years now and even though I moved to Phoenix a couple of years ago every time I'm in town I make sure to book an appointment with HER. She is very accommodating and I respect that a lot. I've tried to find a replacement out in the desert for those times when I just need a trim/touch up color and honestly no one is better at cutting/coloring/styling my hair than her. I cannot say enough positives things- I'm always happy with the end result and the service is fantastic. Highly recommended!! read more

Ewa at Emvee Salon is one of the first hair stylists that I have met that I completely trust with doing my hair. I'm not the type of person that always has a clear direction of ways I would like to cut/color my hair, and Ewa is so understanding! She is so willing to give suggestions, and I have never been disappointed with the results! Not only is she incredibly talented, but she is also one of the most caring and wonderful people I know. I always leave with the biggest grin in my face because of my fabulous-looking hair and all the laughs! read more

If you are considering having your hair done by Ewa at Emvee Salon, allow me to help you decide! My hair has been put through a lot of color changes/processing over the years. It reached a point where it was in poor condition and I was very unhappy with the color. After some terrible toning at a previous salon, my hair was literally a green tint when I had my first appointment with Ewa. I put my faith in her to fix it and she did not disappoint!! She has been coloring and cutting my hair for a year now and I will never trust my locks with anyone else! It looks and feels healthier than ever due to the ever amazing Olaplex and her expertise. If you are looking for a stylist that gives you undivided attention, strives to give you the color and cut that you desire while maintaining the health of your hair, then this is the place for you. The cherry on top is that not only is she a true artist when it comes to hair but she's also a wonderful person. Check out the pics of her work and they will speak for themselves! read more

First of all, I would like to start off by talking about the woman behind this amazing salon- Ewa herself. I have known Ewa for a few years now and I am happy to say that not only is she my go to girl for hair, but she is a true friend. She is truly the sweetest, most genuine, and hard working woman and mama! Now lets get to the hair. She is AMAZING!!!! Amazing is actually an understatement. She knows what she is doing and has worked very hard to get to where she is and you can definitely tell. Her hair color is perfection, her cuts are very precise and she is great at styling as well. Her overall talent & high quality does not go unnoticed. I have been going to her for awhile and have now referred all of my sisters and mom to her because that is how amazing she is. My family and myself are very picky about our hair and are always a little weary of going to new people...but Ewa is one of a kind and will have us as lifelong clients. I have gone to other people out of convenience due to where I live (downtown Chicago), but nobody compares and I always end up going back to her and having her fix my color that someone else was unable to achieve, and let's just say..the places I have gone to in the city were high end salons and pricey- what does that tell you!? Price & location does not always guarantee good hair. Needless to say you MUST go to Ewa!!! You will always leave beyond satisfied. I have even had people on the street in the city stop me and ask about my hair color and where I go... EMVEE baby! read more
