Wedding Date: August 30, 2015 Wedding planning takes a lot of time and involves a tremendous amount of stress, as every bride and groom, along with their families, wants the special day to be spectacular and unique. Music and food are the keys players in that gorgeous day! However finding those vendors is time consuming and anxiety provoking. Thank goodness we found Roman and Empyreal Strings who exceeded all our expectations and beyond!! Roman helped us plan the most amazing evening filled with great music and entertainment starting from the cocktail hour, to the ceremony, to the reception! At the greeting/cocktail hour, as soon as the guests entered, they walked into classical music being played on live instruments by the group, creating the ambiance for the entire evening! Our guests kept coming up to our parents (as my husband and I were in hiding) and complimenting at the elegant music that was playing! I think they thought that was it...until they got to the ceremony. At the ceremony, all the songs played at the processional were played live as well, which brought chills down all of our spines! It truly came out breathtakingly beautiful! Then the reception started... the MC brought out the bride and groom as the new Mr. and Mrs., and then the party started and didn't stop until the end of the night! Our dance floor was truly packed the entire night!!! Guests kept saying how as soon as they wanted to take a break and breathe, another great song came on and they remained on the dance floor! The songs were mixed to cater to all of our guests young and old, Russian/Ukrainian/American/international! Just as an FYI, we had a great mixed crowd, and all were partying together! That was the most important part! All types of songs and all great ones! The highlight of the night, which I couldn't wait for because I knew it would be fantastic, was the Electric Strings Pop Show!!!! All our guests, including the bride and groom (us), were watching with awe, clapping and tapping their feet along! The energy that filled the hall was electrifying! People couldn't wait for more!!! And as everything spectacular, the evening had to come to an end. Then the phone calls began... everyone kept complimenting how much fun our wedding was, particularly the entertainment!!! We hired Roman and his Empyreal Strings orchestra for our wedding! They were INCREDIBLE. Roman was so kind and helpful preparing for the wedding, especially with me being so anxious it was nice to have a vendor that absolutely knew what to do and what we needed without me needing to explain much. He played music from both mine and my now Husband's cultures and made sure to keep the party going all night! Everyone from both sides of our families loved him and were thrilled. We also had to move our wedding 3 times due to Covid and he was so kind in getting back to us quickly and changing our date. On the actual wedding day some things we had planned had to be moved around and Roman worked quickly to switch things up and make sure everything went on without a hitch and our guests didn't even know that anything was changed last minute by us! His string quartet during our cocktail hour and ceremony was amazing. Both my husband and I are musicians so we can tell when musicians are quality and they played so beautifully and clean, they could have been performers at Lincoln Center in New York. They sounded incredibly professional and we were so happy with the elegance that they added. The live singers that Roman brought with his team are also incredible. They were so flawless I forgot it was live sometimes! The Dj was also amazing and knew how to get people on the dance floor even with most of our guests being older in age. Everyone had a blast. The absolute BEST part though- was their "extravaganza show" it was pretty much a 20min strings rock concert! 4 string players played incredible pop rock and even classical but with an added twist. The SHOW WAS THE BEST PART OF OUR RECEPTION!! If you hire Roman, you MUST make sure to ask for the extravaganza show, it is one of the most memorable parts of our whole wedding and people are still talking about that part of the evening. Planning my wedding, one of the best decisions I made was choosing this band!!! WOW. They made my wedding, period. My guests were blown away! Even my venue said that they have never seen such a performance at a wedding, and neither have I! It was like being at a concert, and yet it was very much a wedding. Roma and his skilled band performed and MC'd our wedding on June 2nd and we can't say enough about how overall amazing the evening went. It was non stop without any bumps. Constantly keeping the crowd on their feet and smiling. The music was quality and sound was clear. This isn't your average band. They perform incredible mini sets (Vivaldi "chef's table" remix with strings) , the singers including some of the musicians make their way into the crowd to make it more of an interactive experience. Honestly Roma is a very compassionate man and knows this business, so even though his opinons might come off a little bold, its because he actually knows. We hired Roman and his orchestra for our wedding, and we have absolutely no regrets. They did a fantastic job, although I wasn't surprised since I have been to at least four weddings in the past decade where they performed, and they never failed to impress. From the very start, both my husband and I were sold on the band just by watching the introductory video presentation. Once we signed with Empyreal Strings, Roma was extremely professional and easy to work with. His prompt responses to my constant telephone concerns and requests was much appreciated. His deep passion for music and his impressively broad artist, song and instrument knowledge made me certain that we were getting involved with someone good. Before Empyreal Strings, no one was able to musically and linguistically accommodate me and my husband's multicultural (Russian, American and Portuguese) family. Without a problem, Roma provided all three authentic singers the day of the wedding. When it came to finalizing the details of the night, both my husband and I were a bit indecisive and unsure as to how we wanted everything to play out. With great relief to me, Roma took charge and helped to plan out our entire night in less than 20 minutes. Empyreal Strings was absolutely terrific! My husband and I searched all over the place for a good band, especially one that would be a good balance between our russian and american guests. It wasn't until we came across this band that we knew we found the people we wanted to perform at our wedding! Roma was professional, courteous, and patient with us with our song reception song selections and ceremony music. He was knowledgeable in wedding music and really took the time out to choose what we wanted our wedding to be like. We had a few special songs that we threw in at the last week and Roma had his entire band memorize and play them beautifully! On the night of our wedding, Empyreal Strings was fantastic. They kept the ENTIRE guest party of ~200 people dancing the entire time. I don't know how he did it, but old, young, russian, and american guests were all dancing together to every song and it was amazing to see how great a time everybody was having. We had several meetings prior to the big day, and Roman was extremely responsive and willing to do what was asked of him. It was extremely important for us to have both Russian and American music at the event, the band absolutely nailed it. Roman answered all of my last minute questions, my million phone calls and still had time to call and check on me to make sure I was okay. Empyreal Strings did an absolutely amazing job at April 6, 2013 wedding. Our wedding party consisted of about 240 people with a good mix of people of all ages and different backgrounds. Everyone, and I mean everyone, was amazed at the band's performance. People were dancing all night long and did not get of the dance floor. We even had to extend our wedding by an hour because people did not want to get off the dance floor - at 2am!! People are still calling and telling us how great the band was. The string show that was performed during the main course was out of this world. Everyone's eyes and ears were glued on the show and people of all age said that they have never seen anything that amazing in their life at a wedding. Roman himself was really amazing. He worked seamlessly with us and listened to the type of music we wanted to be played and had excellent recommendations for us of what songs to play. He is a true professional!!! We hired Empyreal Strings band for our wedding, and we couldn't have been happier with the choice. Roman is a true professional - he guided us through the process at every step and made sound recommendations based on his experience. The band was amazing - from cocktail hour with the saxophone through the reception the party never stopped! We appreciated that they are able to play a mix of many genres of music because of their diverse membership. They learned several new songs for our wedding - classic Ukranian songs (my wife is Ukranian) and some other new pop songs that they hadn't played yet. The band will match the energy of the party - singers joined us on the dance floor for multiple songs ("Shout" and "I Will Survive" were some highlights), and they can tone it down for the ballads. A family member performed a song on guitar that he wrote for our wedding, and the band caught on and backed him up with percussion and bass, it was fantastic!
