Do NOT go here. My appointment was on July 5th. The day after 4th of July. Upon entering, Larissa had mentioned she had been out drinking and was "so hungover" from the night before. Immediately, I thought this was an unprofessional statement to make to any client. She gave me a paper to sign, typical liability form and after care steps to follow... however, her attitude toward it was very careless and she didn't even go through it all saying "it didn't really matter" Now before I continue, I'm deciding to now post a review because I tried giving my eyebrows, as well as Larissa, some time to heal and for her to maybe reach out later? (She leaves me on read in the messages) Anyway, while she's drawing outlines for my brows, she mentions that she drew on two different brows... I told her I like the brow with the angular arch. She assures me that while she microblades that she'll match the two brows. However long story short, she gives me TWO COMPLETELY DIFFERENT BROWS. With different heights and shapes. To make this short, at the final product, I say to her "these are uneven. Do not lie to my Larissa. You see these are uneven" ... to which she crouches down to my eye level, squints at my brows, and brushes it all off saying they're not uneven, and if anything, just one stroke would do the trick. -- it did not... I was upset. I paid $400 for this and she told me that the second appointment would be to fix up anything.... Why should we have to FIX anything?!?! I thought second sessions were for TOUCHUPS not to FIX things? Larissa sent me home with uneven brows... they were so uneven that I spent 20 minutes in the car after my appointment scrubbing OFF the top of my right eyebrow (brow without the cheek freckle) to make it leveled with my left one... you clearly see the scab from rubbing my skin in the photo labeled "Text Thread 1/13" again, that scab above my brow is from me trying to lower my brow myself. And they're STILL uneven. Anyway... PLEASE READ THE TEXT THREAD. I (the client) and Blue & Larissa (the owner) is in Gray. The language she used with me was very defensive. She brought up issues I was not trying to address. She brings up the fact that I signed a waiver. Annoying only because I was talking about how my brows were uneven after her. Then she leaves me on read after I try to get my money back.... ANY OTHER PROFESSIONAL WOULD OFFER LITERALLY ANYTHING IN RETURN FOR A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. I didn't receive a refund, nor a partial refund, not an opportunity for her to fix what she did to my brows... (she practically told me to pay for the second visit for her to fix... why would I trust that!) all I got was to be left on read. Do NOT go here. This was an awful first time micro blading. I trusted Larissa and she took advantage of me and my money. (She even tried asking for a tip after I told her to not lie to me about my brows being uneven) I recommend SkyBrows in San Marcos- their services are HALF the price and DOUBLE the quality. I tried lash extensions for the first time (after years of lash lifts), and it was a mixed experience. My first set looked crazy! I didn't know what to ask for, and apparently chose wrong based on the consultation. I tried to get used to them, but I was feeling ridiculous and had to go back a few days later to undo them. They were able to figure out how to tone them down, so I tried to stick with them for a few fills. The fills always looked pretty good for 7-9 days or so, but days 10-14 were straggly and unkempt. Even with following their after care to a T and buying their cleaning solution. I also thought it would save me time not having to wear mascara, but I ended up spending way more time brushing them. Also having to lay there for 75 minutes every other week was way more time consuming than a quick 30-45 minute lash lift every 6 weeks. And the beds are quite uncomfortable after about 30 minutes. I ended up getting the extensions removed and going back to lash lifts. I made the appointment in person, and there was no mention of the price. I thought it was going to be $99 like their printed brochure says, but was charged $149 after the service with an explanation that they only offer the higher priced option with keratin add-on and that the brochures (that they still have at their register) are wrong. $50 lesson for me to make sure I confirm pricing before a service. In summary, lash extensions are not for me. And their beds and pricing practices are not for me either.
