I spent over 3 months trying to get started with therapy @ Healing Pathways, and they repeatedly didn't follow through so I finally wised up and went elsewhere. They never answer the phone. Their voicemail message asks you to leave a message, text or email them which I did multiple times before receiving a response. When they finally sent a message responding, it was clear they not listened to/read any of my messages, asked me what I was contacting them about it and asked me to call them at the same number (that they never answer) which I did and received no response. I had to email, text and call several more times before receiving a response. When I did receive communication from someone, the message didn't identify who was sending/leaving the message and I received vastly different information from one person/message to the next. At one point, I was told they had scheduled some appointments for me that they ended up canceling, without communicating a reason to me. They told me they would get back with me to reschedule and never did. I wish I would've sought out a solo therapist with good reviews in the first place who doesn't drop the ball, which would have saved me a so much time and frustration, and many months of my life!

The offices are decorated with artwork and quotes to adopt in your daily life like, "Thoughts are not facts." The furniture is comfortable and there are blankets, pillows, fidget toys and more in the offices for your use. The waiting room is small but comfortable, calming, and relaxing. At the time of this review, the Milcreek location is fairly new, so they are still working on remodeling some aspects of the place, but that is not an issue at all because it is such a high quality business.

I've come across over 50 therapists since childhood... and the ones at Holistic Elements really do their best and beyond. They do not allow fluorescent lighting (for ambience and calming reasons) so they have it set up in the waiting room, front desk and therapy rooms with window lighting, lamps, waterfalls, tranquil music, snacks and drinks for every visit, blankets, pillows, soft couches, an amazing selection of outstanding therapists, very kind and caring front desk workers... my therapist, Heidi, is absolutely wonderful, to the point, in depth, understanding, and very genuine. Many, if not all, these therapists, have some sort of fidget toys, stuffed animals or art related items to utilize while in a session. My couples therapist, Krista, is incredibly smart, genuine, fun and helpful. I go in twice a week due to couples and individual therapy, so I know how it is first hand, so of course I highly recommend this place to so many people. They take in all ages and genuinely care about your well being. Please consider doing therapy here. There's so many different therapists to choose from too!

Would not recommend this facility for various reasons. I was inpatient at this facility for 4 days…read moreafter trying to end my life. I had at minimum, FOUR missed phone calls from loved ones who I was trying to get in touch with while I was there, and the staff did not notify me of ANY of the missed calls whatsoever. I didn't find out about the calls until after I got out of treatment and was able to check my cell phone, where I saw texts telling me about how they called the facility and they wouldn't let them talk to me because I was in Group. It is terrifying to think that this facility intentionally keeps you from talking to your loved ones while you're in such a vulnerable situation. When my partner came to visit me, they did NOT have him sign any sort of HIPPA form. We got publicly berated for hugging and were loudly told "you guys are all over each other" when we had not been told previously that hugs were not allowed. Oh, and this is after they took me to visitation LATE (when it's only allowed for 45min 3x a week, as it is). I had to literally beg them to take me to visitation and they still got me there 10 minutes late. The staff was completely rude, disrespectful, and lacking compassion on my first day of being admitted. I remember being yelled at by multiple staff, and one of the doctors had my medical history incorrect because she was reviewing outdated hospital medical documents from several years ago. (The facility had seen me in IOP and had my updated diagnoses, so I'm not sure why they didn't use common sense and refer to those records). She mocked me for having BPD, even though I had that diagnosis removed years ago and have since been diagnosed with autism. My autism struggles were not taken seriously by anyone in this facility. I was told that two of my medications (both affecting my mood) would not be given to me because they just don't carry them at the facility. So that was great. Oh you just tried to end your life because you missed your meds at home? Well we'll hold you here against your will and refuse to give you those meds you so desperately need! Oh and I had 4 seizures while at this facility with no medical attention despite having told staff.
