My wife and I ordered the BBQ Ribs and wings to share and our daughter ordered the Scotch Fillit. Ribs can be pretty ordinary, but they were amazing. Melt in your mouth and super tasty. My daughter loved her steak. I tried a bit and it was the best we had had after eating in restaurants, pubs and fancy, on our 3 week holiday, and this was far and away the best. The deserts were also great. The staff were charming country good people and could not have been more helpful. We wholeheartedly recommend it.

Bit student vibe at this one if I remember correctly or was it a local pub for local people? Either way Tasmanian's are refreshingly friendly and quite quick to get into a conversation with. I mean what more could you want for then a good chat with a few locals over some cheap drinks. I can't remember clearly whether this was the pub I was too terrified to drink in or not, all I have is that 3$ stubbies pic so I'm going to assume it was awesome and we'll let the next unfortunate yelper determine whether or not they escape with their life. Good Luck

The whole dish was delicate and flavorful. We order bread as well. It had a nice roasted, nutty flavor to it - so it wasn't a boring slice of bread. All and all, the lunch was very, very good and enough to to feed two. A bit pricy, good value. Then we partook in dessert. The lemon Tart & Baked Cheesecake with Rhubarb. Simply the best way to finish this meal. Highly recommend either one.

Great location, you are close to everything, but feel quite set apart in this quiet little village…read more The bed was comfy and the deluxe room was spacious - with a nice sized desk, fridge, and two couches. Also nice to have a big bathtub and a little brick patio out back to relax in after a long day. There is also a good Indian restaurant, Pickled Evenings, just down the hill near the driveway entrance. If you are coming during the cooler months, do bring a bathrobe and warm pajamas though as the suite can get quite chilly. There is a space heater, but still. Also, I wish there had been an information sheet in the room - I arrived late and so was not able to jump on the wifi until someone could tell me the password the following day. I also did not realize until the end of my stay that the bed had an electric blanket underneath the sheet, which would have been great to know earlier. Breakfast is ok, just some eggs, toast, and cereal - but the view from the dining room is quite lovely.

After staying at a nearby hotel previously and having terrible experience, we decided this hotel…read morewould be our hotel of choice. The hotel is very modern in the foyer. Check-in was great. There is a great restaurant and bar near the lobby. The lounge within the restaurant in bar makes it very casual and welcoming. Our rooms are very modern nice and clean and brilliant . The only concern we had and problem was they were still updating half of the hotel and we were walking through a construction zone to and from our room every day and had to put up with a bunch of noise from contractors. I'm not sure the answer would've been here but they can't work on all the rooms at once but it was not the best situation. Once the hotel is completely updated and there is no more construction, it will likely hit a five star Yelp rating. I'll stay here next time hopefully it's all done and we have a great day..
