They aren't forgiving if you are late or miss an appointment. It doesn't matter if your child has an issue right before you head out the door, or if you're stuck in traffic and cannot get to the office in time. I know it's important to call ahead of time and cancel...it's also pretty important to make all your appointments. But what about the times when "life" happens and you just can't make it? They switched over to Boston Children's Hospital about a year and a half ago and it was a slow and brutal process for them in terms of ironing out many kinks- but I feel they finally are getting better in terms of scheduling, billing and finding the right office staff. They are much more pleasing to deal with then their previous office staff. I'm also happy that Dr. Frederick is no longer a part of this office. She saw my daughter a couple times and it was torture dealing with her undermining and condescending attitude. They brought a new pediatrician to the practice-Dr. Hwang, who is much more pleasant and professional to deal with... Sometimes you have to just deal with certain nuances in order for your children to get the best care. No place is perfect but when push comes to shove, this pediatric office has always come through for me and my family in times of great need.

The "answering service" couldn't advise me on what to do and essentially keep calling the doctor who was no where to be found. This is just one of three reasons why we switched to a different practice. I'm not going to write them on here because I think I just caught the doctors on off days but trust me, they were unprofessional. I'm just glad we switched out of there before my kids are misdiagnosed due to the office being understaffed all around. This office needs to hire a nurse, another two doctors and another receptionist ASAP. Oh, and the doctors often let you know how busy they are when they do call you back making the off hours call even more uncomfortable. One of them said to me on the phone, " I haven't even eaten dinner and I'm about to see my 10th patient, how can I help you?" Great patient experience NOT.

Dr Fauser is one of the most professional, understanding and customer-centric physicians I have ever met. Both surgeries were performed at Somers' Surgical Center (in Danbury CT), which is simply OUTSTANDING! The facility is, technologically, state-of-the-art, and the nursing staff there is unbelievable. With all of the surgeries I have had over the past 10 years, I have never experienced such efficiency, attentiveness, compassion, and overall professionalism from a nursing staff.
