One and DONE! Here's why: Be AWARE of doctor's offices that change the name of their practices!…read more This practice has gone through one, maybe even two name changes over the last two years! Lobby: old and dingy! Dental rooms: old and tiny, I'll go as far as saying 'antiquated!' I was actually a little concerned about the overall cleanliness as this place really requires a huge overhaul. Lastly, I was told by one of the receptionists that my type of dental insurance was accepted. Lo and behold, I go to check-out (for what was my first and LAST visit), and they DON'T take my form of insurance anymore (as if this decision was literally just made!). If I had a choice to go some back-alley non-licensed dental office or this place, my decision may surprise you!

I really wanted to like this place, especially because the person who told me about it is someone…read morewhose work I love! The first time I went a couple of weeks ago, the girl who did my nails stared at her phone the entire time. She literally had it on a stand in front of her and was facetiming and having conversations through her ear buds the whole time I was there. She was speaking Spanish and being Puerto Rican I understood everything she was saying as she looked at the produce that someone was shopping for and made recommendations about what to add to the grocery list. She barely spoke to me or acknowledged me and at one point got up to run out to give someone a set of keys and didn't even say "hey, I'll be right back", just left me there waiting and wondering. I must be a glutton because I still tipped her and came back to try a different person this week, but she also had her phone mounted to a stand in front of her face the whole time I was there! When did people get so rude? I'm stunned, seriously! I NEVER touch my phone while I'm out getting my nails done and I would never whip out my phone at work and totally ignore everyone to video chat with friends. And I should add that the first girl did an OK job on my nails, but 3 of them fell off within days of getting the UV gel fills because she didn't bother to glue any loose edges. I didn't complain though, went back to get them done 2 weeks later with 3 of them missing and the second person, who was also on her phone, added 3 tips, then filed them down to my skin, so why even bother adding tips that I had to pay extra for? And yes, I tipped her too, because I believe unless someone's really awful, they should be tipped. As a Puerto Rican woman, my parents taught me manners and my blue-collar parents worked hard and always tipped, so I do too. But seriously, I would love to see people have the kinds of manners that my parents taught me. Put your phones away, don't mount them in front of your face, and talk to people once in a while, just to say HELLO, like I do! I'm easy going but this was too much, especially a second time!
