Saw some bad reviews for this place but opted to come here as it was very close to motel. I arrived at 6:45 AM, and the place was very clean. Walking around, I did notice that a majority of the single load machines were taped closed but all of the front load machines were operational. A few of the dryers were also not working, but they do have a total of 40 dryers if all were working. There are single load machines for $2, two load machines for $3.25. And the four load machines for $5. There are also four six-load machines for $6.50. Dryers were first $0.25 for 7 minutes and then $0.25 for each quarter after. Strange. The place has a pop machine and a snack machine. Pop is $1 and the snacks average $1.25. Machines take quarters only, no fancy cards or anything. They do have two change machines and a dispenser on the wall for soap and supplies. My machines worked perfectly without issue. Decent place but they should fix or replace broken equipment read more

The owners of this establishment never maintain their machines. You can wait here for three hours for a dryer that works, even though 37 of them line the walls! Eight out of 12 washers are taped up with duct tape. The place is FILTHY-BEYOND disgusting. Avoid this place like the plague is my strong recommendation to anyone needing to do laundry in Barstow. read more

This place is a filth pit. Floors are dirty. Machines are not wiped down. I lost $1.00 on dryers that did not heat. Half the dryers have tape over the coin slots. My clothes did not come out clean. Business license posted on the wall is from 2013. No emergency contact information available. A Covid-19 sign was posted but just about everyone in the place was NOT wearing a mask. I should have trusted the reviews! This is the dirtiest, most disgusting laundry I have ever used. The floor is filthy and the machines all need to be thoroughly cleaned. I finally cleaned off a folding table myself because it was too dirty to put my clothes on for folding. While I was there, a couple of employees were trying their best to clean, but didn't have the right equipment. Don't go here if you can avoid it! read more

As someone who lives on the road and uses laundromats all across the country I've seen some pretty bad places to do laundry. This one really takes the cake. Not only is this place very dirty and unkempt the majority of the dryers do not work. Well over two thirds of the dryers have tape over the coin slot so that they can't be used, a small thank you for that. The majority of the remaining dryers that do 'work' spin your clothes giving you the impression that they might actually dry your clothes but alas you would be wrong in your thinking. Absolutely horrendous. This place is disgusting and there is absolutely ZERO customer service. If you care about your clothes, I would recommend staying far, far away from this place. It's hard to believe there is a worse place to do laundry in the area... take your business to literally any other laundromat! I used a front loading washer and the washer got stuck on the wash cycle. My clothes were locked in the washer and there was nothing I could do to get them out. After searching the entire laundromat for a phone number to report the issue and get help before my clothes were ruined, I was able to get an old contact number. But guess what? That number was disconnected. I asked around to see if anyone doing laundry knew someone I could call or would recognize an employee and I had no luck. After a while, a man approached me asking to help. I was skeptical as the person was not wearing anything that would indicate they worked for the laundromat, but hey, what were my options at this point? The man called someone from his phone, explained the problem to the person he was talking to, and proceeded to turn of the washer using the main power supply. My clothes were completely soaked and he said he was unable to start the rinse / spin cycle as he "didn't have a key". I mentioned to him that I couldn't locate a number to contact anyone and he told me "there was no number". He mentioned that the reason he was there was that he saw me on the cameras struggling with the washer... Yes, that's right, there is no way to contact someone for maintenance, but they watch the cameras and determine if what they see warrants an employee to go in and help. Absolutely despicable! Aside from my personal experience, there are a large number machines that are either defective or too dirty to use. Not to mention the entire facility is outright disgusting. Broken floor tiles and trash all over the floor. Even if my personal experience isn't enough to deter you, the place is so poorly kept that it doesn't deserve your business.eege read more

This place is pretty decent if I say so myself. With, a new owner I knew some changes were going to be happening and I'm glad that we got new washers and we're getting new dryers. Through this place is still rough spot after it years. The store isn't as clean, tables have been taken, and also the bathroom was taken out as well and still don't know whether the Fluff n Fold will be reopening. Besides, that this place has alright washers, some decent benches, vending machines, and some video games for any entertainment along with the 99 Cent Store being next door for any items a person needs to get. So, this place is pretty good, but not as great as was back a few years ago. read more
