Yesterday was the first time I placed an order with Emma's Flowers and it will certainly not be the last. I spoke to Howard and he was extremely helpful as I am not from the area and told him that the delivery was for a friend who was having surgery at Health First Holmes Regional Medical Center. I ordered a boutonniere for my son's prom. I should have walked out from the start when she was ignoring us when we walked it because she was chatting to an old friend on the phone. She asked what color. I told her white flower with navy. I even called back and added red for a pop of color less than 20 mins after i ordered. Well not only was it not ready when I got there but she rushed through it and gave me just a white flower with floral tape. No navy and red was never even written down. I must admit, I was a little intimidated by the "r l." review of Emma's Flowers, because I wanted to send flowers to a family member who had just left the hospital. I don't even live in Florida, I needed them delivered the same day, and any kind of blunder would haunt me at family gatherings for the rest of my life (especially once the alcohol starts flowing)!!! But I decided to rely on the other reviews, and the fact that the business was local to my relative. I actually placed my order with Emma, herself, and she was really nice. I knew what I wanted from perusing her website, and placing the order was easy. She made sure she had written down all the information correctly, which made me feel less anxious. I also called back five minutes later to give an additional phone number of my family member, just in case, and a gentleman answered because Emma was already going at it with my "Preform Garden Design" arrangement. The result: the flowers were delivered in the early afternoon, and they were a big hit! 5 stars for: same day delivery execution, definitely affordable for the quality and arrangement you are getting, ease of ordering, politeness of owner and staff, and comfort post placing the order. I was told by another family member who was at the house that the flowers were very pretty, the arrangement was full all-around (as opposed to some arrangements you can buy at grocery stores where they only look good from the front, or at an angle), colorful, and FRESH! I've reviewed this place in the past and my review has been removed. Here's another try: I've used Emma's on 4 occassions. Twice, I ordered in advance and gave them 24 hours notice of pickup. When I arrived, it was as though the order was never placed. Nothing had been done and I had to sit and wait for them to whip something up. I don't have time for that. read more

Over the years I have been given a number of arrangements but the one I got recently from Emma's for my 65th birthday was unbelievable. It had a bit of everything - even orchids!
