Dinner in Lourdes, France...
Across the street from our hotel was a Vietnamese Restaurant:
Emmanuel Viet An.
The Vietnamese couple that we are traveling with was interested in supporting this small family business. Okay!
Inside, it's a pleasant environment with many comforting statues of Mother Mary.
Service was very friendly, efficient, and helpful! When the male staff noticed that our friend liked the fresh greens, he got more from the garden and gave us more!
I ordered the wrap your own bun (noodles). It was healthy and delicious!
We also shared an order of Summer Rolls - yummy!
For dessert, I got a Red Sunset smoothie with strawberries and mango... refreshing and not too sweet!
We also got an order of Seasame seed balls - a fundraiser for the seminary in Viet Nam. Last year, this business sent 10,000€ to them. The deep fried balls are filled with mung bean paste and a hint of coconut! Mmm!
Overall, we had a great foodie adventure!
