If I lived in the area I would have an entire home filled with pieces from Venini and be living on bread and cheese (my dream diet). I like this plan; if I start saving now I may be able to have this chandelier by retirement. Venini is glass blowing perfection; I recommend a visit and a purchase if you have the funds. I told her I was interested in buying the hat and not once did she tell me she needed to take it down for me to buy it. I tried to take the hat down and for some reason a glass necklace and sunglasses were hanging on the hat so they both fell. A piece of the necklace broke and the lady yelled at me and demanded I bought the $30 necklace. Monica was awful! She not only was extremely rude to me but rude to other customers who were interested in buying things!! There are plenty of other stores to go to so do not go to this one.

After visiting their store in Murano and spending thousands of dollars on artwork, we were promised fast delivery, full shipping coverage, and no additional fees. We paid in full and left with written and verbal confirmation that everything was settled -- no surprises. What followed was two months of delays, excuses, and zero communication unless we chased them. Then, out of nowhere, their shipping company contacted us to demand an extra 10% ($400+) in "U.S. tariffs" -- a cost they are now suddenly trying to push onto us despite it never being disclosed at purchase. Their response? Blame the U.S. government and refuse a refund, even though: We were explicitly told there would be no extra fees. We asked them not to ship unless the agreed-upon terms were honored -- they ignored us and sent the shipment anyway. Their pricing was already inflated compared to other Murano retailers, by hundreds of dollars per item. They refused to take accountability, even after we provided evidence from their team and website. Their customer service was dismissive and robotic, repeating the same copy-pasted excuses about tariffs being our problem. This was nothing but a bait-and-switch tactic to squeeze more money after already overcharging us. They're now holding the items hostage at customs unless we pay more, and claim their sales are "final" -- even when they violated our agreement. Avoid these companies at all cost. They are not transparent, do not honor their word, and use borderline scam tactics to extract more money post-sale. We are pursuing a chargeback with our credit card and will be reporting this case further.

Let the glass art begin!!…read more Got a private tour of this factory as a special from our hotel. Water taxi ride took about 35-45 minutes to get here! The little boats are rockkkkkyyyyyyyy! But I don't think you can use the ferries to come here either! It was cool! They can create, hand-blownn anything, any design you want and pack and ship it to you! Has to be 990 euros or more for free shipping. And there's a 40% sale tax on top! Pretty steep for purchases!! But then again, hand blown art from Murano isn't cheap!! Most glass items ( bears, clows) started around 20,000 euros! Don't forget the 40% sale tax!! My guide was one of the owners: got to see a few things made! And all the secret design items! No photos for this!! And eventhough, my hotel was supposed to pick me up, they somehow managed to give a ride back for free in the water taxi. Those things cost $150 per ride! No complaints there since they really were eager to drop you off! Not sure why though. Hmmm! Overall, it was cool to see and marvel at things! I mean! Don't you want a 500,000 chandelier?! Murano! Certified! Authentic! :P Seems Elton John did!! So is Dale Chihuly! Cool spot! One day, I'll buy the big prize items! Till then, I got myself a brand new horse! Wooo! Murano!!!
