After going to Murano Island I was obsessed with Murano glass jewelry. I went to a lot of places and mist things were either overpriced or Chinese imitation glass. I saw in a couple of places signs that read "No cheap Chinese glass here" I thought it was funny sarcasm, but once you go into a couple of cheaper shops, you get why.
Emmabo is a tiny shop that sells mostly jewelry, but also some glassware. All authentic Murano made. The have such signs all over the store. They are reasonably priced. Now these stuff are not cheap, even though they are right next to Murano. I am sure the locals know where to go to get good prices, but for us tourist folk, this store is a good place to stop for authentic pieces at a good price.
They have a "if you break it, you pay it policy" and the store is very small, so thread lightly. Overall great shop. read more
