They did shuffle teachers around a bit but i learned something from each of my teachers miss Linda taught me how important cleanliness is to both the esthetician and the client , miss Sierra was there when I needed help with doing peels and advice about products ,miss Hannah was there for me when I had to do my first bikini wax ( I was so nervous ) miss Britney taught me how to keep my cool at the front desk ... if your considering this school book your appointment to talk to miss adrian shes very nice and can help u get started !! The bonus of being a student is that you get a few months of free chair rental after you complete the class. That has been extremely helpful since building my business has been a slow process. The salon is very clean and tidy. Feel very safe there because the door is locked at all times.

I was frustrated and walked out. 2nd time I interacted with the school: I called the number listed only to get a cell phone voicemail. I chose to hang up and not leave a message. I received a call back and the lady said "You called me, who is this?"... I explained that I was trying to reach Bridges Beauty College, she said she worked there and asked what she could do to help me. I told her that I was still looking into enrolling in cosmetology school and wanted to give them another shot. She told me to come by and meet with the campus director a couple days later. 3rd interaction with the school: I made it a point to leave work early to get there on time. I showed up for my meeting with the director about 10 min early only to find that the door was locked, so I waited. When someone came to open the doors, I was told that the director did had left for the day. Considering I had a standing appointment I was surprised that no one would call to notify me of the changes. I have been stupid enough to try to call 3 more times since then and always get a voicemail and now no return call. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!! Just go to another local competitor with a reputable name like Salon Success or Marinello's.

Went on a Friday morning in April and got a wolf cut, by Lilliana. Instructor came over at multiple times and would demonstrate on one side of my head so she could practice with the other. On the phone they said it'd take "30-40 min" but I think that's only if you're doing something simple. She had to learn the whole style, so it took maybe 1.5-2 hours. Was fine with me though. Students have specific weekdays they work (usually about 3 out of the 5), so if you like one you can try and become their regular while they're learning there. I've had long-time professionals who are unable to comprehend giving butch/masculine haircuts to people like me. Here, when I asked for changes at the end, the student and the instructor spent the time to get it closer to what I wanted. They didn't care whether I was queer or not, they just wanted to teach and learn how to make a good cut.
