(Still kicking myself for not trying it in Paris) Upon entering I tripped on a step and almost went through a glass plated window, but thankfully I stopped only a few inches before. Someone opened the door and asked if I needed any help and from there it was history. The dessert was great, and the guy inside was nice in Nice. Perfect combination.

We also tried the grand mariner crepe it packed a punch and was really good. We didn't try them, but I saw lots of people ordering desserts--I kept watching them go by wishing that I had each as they went by. I would be back-- the lunch menu looks good, but we were here I'm the morning. The restaurant closes at 8:00PM (20:00) so don't come looking for dinner.

This restaurant offers perhaps the worst service I have ever endured in my culinary career. Having…read morerun several restaurants myself I was appalled to find that there was only one front of house for a busy lunch service. This meant that we were not even offered a menu or drink for nearly half an hour after being (rather churlishly) seated. For us part of the pleasure of dining out is relaxing and this wasn't really possible given the fact that the waitress was highly stressed and pouring with sweat. I would suggest that the owners learn a little more about organisation and customer service before trying to cram in so many covers. Their inexperience was palpable and inexcusable. Having said that the food was very fresh and pleasant, though the fish was only just cooked - another example of less than perfect quality produced under stress. Splash out on more staff and this could be a very charming venue. By the way we weren't the only customers to feel rather neglected and bemused by a waitress who couldn't even be bothered to apologise for sloppy service.

Coming from the States, this was your typical Starbucks in terms of menu and food offerings (less…read moresnacks than the larger Starbucks) but super super crowded on a Sunday afternoon at the mall, probably because the mall was one of the few things open on a Sunday (the joys of France). They had the usual teas, coffee drinks, Frappucinos, new tea lattes (matcha latte, rooibos lattes), and baked goods. The wait seemed longer than normal, especially since I got just a hot tea, which at just over 4€ seems expensive for just a tea bag and hot water. I could've just gone to the Kusmi Tea and bought 10 tea bags for almost the same price. The line was fast to pay (didn't have to wait more than 1 min) but the drink took around 5 min. I wasn't in a hurry so it was fine. There weren't a ton of seats since it was really crowded and the mall store layout is on the smaller side. All in all, this is fine if there's nothing open or you're craving Starbucks, but I'm sure there are better tea and coffee places out there. Maybe the Starbucks novelty is worn off on me since I'm from the States and we have copious amounts of Starbucks.
