We barely had a minute to catch our breath when skillets of desserts were delivered..... chocolate cake and whipped cream with berries and hazelnut cake and whipped cheese with jam. Crazy delicious concoctions! Espresso too. When we asked for the check we were presented with an empty cauldron in which we were to place whatever we thought was fair. Wow! We were served by a charming lady who spoke really good English and made excellent recommendations. We had a lovely meal -bread, cheese, olives, fish patés, a massive piece of veal, green vegetables, 1/2 litre of local wine and pudim - and it cost €25. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and it was outstanding value.
