Best supermarket in the neighborhood. The deli section was amazing and great service.

Supermercato EMI is an excellent supermarket. It is large, with a wide selection of food, beverages, and other goods. Aisles are wide and well-organized. Staff are friendly and helpful (though I advise learning some Italian phrases -- unlike the larger cities, English is not widely-spoken in this region). Prices are good; EMI also stocks a variety of other items you mightn't find at a stateside supermarket, such as clothing, electronics, and bicycles. Note for those unfamiliar with the Italian supermarket system that items such as fruit and baked goods must be weighed and labeled at computerized scales where you pick them up; the cashier cannot do it for you at checkout and will send you back (ask me how I know). Ample parking out front and quick access to and from the Autostrada. A great store. read more
