The pricing was not that much more expensive than the pre-fab companies like "Tuff Shed", but the worksmanship is infinitely better. Kevin will visit your house to help you envisage what's possible. He is very familiar with local city codes (your HOA CC&Rs may differ, of course). There were no bothersome follow-up sales calls. The team works with your schedule and doesn't seem to bombard you with spam because they trust in their work/reputation. Build was over in one day. Painting was over in a few hours. Kevin kept me up to date on everything as it was happening, and their on-site team was very professional and knowledgeable. I only had to pick out the paint, and the rest easily fell into place. Thanks, team, for your great work!

We first used DFW Shed and Fence Company two years ago to build a small shed in our backyard for my…read morewife to use as an artist studio. Prices were competitive and it looked like the quality was better than the Home Depot/Lowes parking lot samples. The owner, Kevin, was very helpful when he came out to measure placement within our property and answered all of our questions and concerns. We had several features we wanted to customize so this was not a standard "out of the box" build. An antique door and window from Craigs List and window panels from Lowes were no problem or added expense for his crew to put in to our specifications. All was done within one day. This summer when our falling apart fence needed to be replaced we checked with several other companies and DFW Shed & Fence. Pricing was all within the same range. Again, Kevin came out to measure and answer all questions and gave us options so we felt confident in using him again to build our new fence. The two man crew was quick and efficient with the tear down and stayed late that day to complete the new construction and clean up. Kevin also showed up that day to check on the work being done. In a few weeks after drying out, we will stain it ourselves. We are very please with the results for both the studio shed build and fence construction. A five star rating and we would use them again without hesitation.

Rooms To Go is a decently priced place to shop for furniture, with the added benefit of having…read moreassembled "rooms" to help you visualize the furniture in your to-be-furnished space. Other stores take this approach as well (Ashley, Stacy's to name two). I like looking around the store and imagining what various styles might look like, sitting on the sofas and chairs, checking prices, etc. I wonder a little about the quality based on other Yelp reviews. But, honestly I have yet to buy from RTG. The main reason for this is... The sales people are too hungry. I know it's "how it works". And, maybe I'm an idealist living in a capitalistic society. But, I instantly feel adversarial when I'm tagged as a prospect (don't even get me started about the car business). So, my go-to is to be friendly to the first salesman who approaches me, get their name and assure them if we get ready to buy something I'll work with them. Then, we move on to look around and essentially use the salesman's name as a force field against other hungry salesmen circling the floor. It's a bad system, and it inclines me to come here to browse only. The variety is strong, with traditional, mid century, modern and other styles to look at. The showroom is clean, bright, and large. If you don't mind that hungry look, it may be a good place to buy as well. Tbh, most of my furniture is purchased (very patiently) on Facebook Marketplace and similar resale sites.

I went into the Fort Worth Living Spaces with my mother, who is handicapped, to buy a loveseat…read moreand a recliner. She fell in love with a power loveseat that happened to be the floor model. Great. Except Living Spaces would not deliver it to her home in Mineral Wells because floor models don't qualify. So a handicapped woman was told to arrange her own hauling. Living Spaces then recommended a third-party mover called Lugg, and she paid over two hundred dollars out of pocket to get furniture home from a furniture store. The loveseat arrived shrink-wrapped and boxed by Living Spaces staff - without the power cord. A power loveseat with no power cord is a piece of furniture that does not work. That's not the mover's error. That's your warehouse. We tried calling the store repeatedly. It is apparently impossible. Every number routes to a call center that cannot reach the actual location or verify anything about the actual item. So the only way to resolve a thirty-second question was for me to drive to the store in person the next morning. To be clear: every employee I dealt with was kind and helpful. The warehouse worker found the cords immediately and knew exactly what had happened. This is not a people problem, it is a Living Spaces problem - a policy that offloads delivery onto disabled customers, a packing process with no final check, and a phone system designed to prevent customers from reaching anyone accountable. They gave ten percent off. Meanwhile I am spending my third day of a holiday weekend driving two hours round trip to Mineral Wells to plug in a cord your staff forgot - because my mother physically cannot do it herself. Ten percent doesn't cover that. Do better.
