And she also allowed no personal phones or video to be taking. Personally I wouldn't book another session, there are a lot of photographers in Jacksonville that can provide the same quality at a much lower cost. I did like her work but had buyer's remorse immediately after leaving the studio.

This was my first professional headshot session and the moment we connected I knew my vision would be honored. He was transparent regarding cost, asked me what my purpose and goal was for my photo and even sent me a link with tips on how to prepare for the session. I really appreciated him sharing his Instagram where I could see how others turned out and was especially happy to see Joseph's experience in photographing women and men of color. I had been photographed before for other initiatives and have unfortunately been portrayed as much darker or much lighter than I truly am, so seeing someone capture a variety of skin tones well was what ultimately made me book. The studio at first glance doesn't seem like much, however once you get in front of that camera Joseph coaches you the whole way and magic is made. I was nervous, even a little self conscious, going in and Joseph eased my nerves by walking me through each pose. I was impressed at his attention to detail when adjusting my hair (I have curly hair that has a mind of its own sometimes). Finally, I loved that in the conclusion of our session we went through the photos one by one and he took my feedback on what I liked and didn't. I bought a session that says it included $100 towards a collection and the Sr. Slide show. When I went to purchase they said I could get $100 off if I bought it early. Then they said that the $100 towards the collection was the discount for buying early. And the slide show was not included. Nothing in the notes online stated this. I would not have bought the higher session fee if this was the case. They are not upfront with their fees and prices. So I lost out on $100 and didn't get the side show. I paid over $1000. Do Not Use Cady for your senior photos! Regular photographers are way cheaper and are upfront with their customers. Repeat, you do not have to use caddy. The school pays them to take their yearbook photo and you can get your pictures done elsewhere. See photos of their deceitful advertising.

As for CADY the company my review is this: in regards to the digital package Option presented to me after paying for the most popular package session not using all of the scenes, but not getting a discount off of the price that I paid for the session. I think it is financially harsh to not offer digital packages in the same way that you offer print packages to force a parent to purchase all or none of the digital photos at a $900 price point on top of the photo session fee is excessive for this major milestone in our child's life and it seems a bit unfair and not consumer friendly in anyway. Offering a package with 10 digital photos for $100 or something like that is more palatable and fair to those who may not be in a financial position to pay almost $900 just to capture this milestone Especially if your photographer captures more than a handful of amazing shots (Again Allison H was amazing)!!! I think you should revisit this rip off option for senior pictures to market to all household income price points and not snatch away the opportunity for parents to brag about their child's milestones because they can't afford the picture proof.

There was the right balance of guiding us with her professional expertise yet also listening to our desires. The day of was seamless and calm. Kara and her support team (I believe named Eric and Nina) somehow made it actually enjoyable. We got a preview within days and our full album not long after. The photos are beautiful and we will cherish them forever.
