It's been said failed doctors become psychiatrists and this could not be more true for Dr. Amanda…read moreMorgan at Psychological Associates. I personally describe her as a professional who exposes the cruel paradox of carelessly over-treating the worried well, while shamefully neglecting the really sick. My son had worked with three different doctors at this practice. The first was replaced after the doctor broke privacy and spoke with me about a topic my son wished to keep private. It wasn't a safety issue but just an observation of his mom. We then saw Dr. Morgan who after many sessions would fail my son and family for life. At "each" visit she would open her door a few minutes before the appointment time and say "I'll be with you shortly" only to return 15-20 minutes after the appointment time. My son was seeing her for anxiety, and she knew this. I spoke with her about the constant tardiness and said it was making it rougher on him waiting. Finally, after many appointments and the wait times getting worse, he told her exactly what he felt. He did this in front of the office staff, and they all had smiles and agreed it was all true for this doctor. My son committed suicide on July 10 and in his final words (note) to us he specifically said if it were not for a failed psychology system and "Dr. Amanda Morgan" he may not have done this. Please look elsewhere before seeing her as I personally believe she should not be a licensed professional.

Dr. Jagar, Mary, Michelle, and Leah have taken such good care of me in the past 2 1/2 years! I've always been treated with respect and dignity, by all of these people. I have to believe, though, for myself that I strive to be a good patient. I never have missed or been late for an appointment. I treat everyone there with the respect they deserve. The office is pleasant to visit. While there are times I'd like to get through by phone faster, they do have a small staff and are face to face with patients all day. They are busy behind the scenes with tasks that need to be done for their patients. They have never failed to reach back out to me after receiving a voicemail. I feel we have to respect the work they do there. I recommend Anchor Clinic to any one who is serious about their mental health condition and willing to cooperate with the protocol. It's for the good of everyone. I've been treated there for almost 3 years and Dr. Jagar has made it possible for me to maintain an evenness to my mental condition and is acutely perceptive and kind. He has a specialty in pharmaceuticals and really knows what he is doing. He also shows an interest in my lifestyle and provides good ideas for activities that would connect me to the community at large. I really want any reader to see this review as it is well thought out and authentic. 5 stars and above!

(Navare) The fact that they still won't turn in the test to my REAL doctor after 5 - 6 months. Also…read morethe doctor there treated me and my Great aunt like garbage, Mr. Groom was his name. He wanted to talk to me and I didn't want to unless she (my aunt) was in the room. He came into the testing room, WITHOUT INTRODUCING HIMSELF and started asking questions. My aunt was in the waiting room at the time. After all that, he started to have a literal tantrum because Auntie Joyce (mother) was the one listed as the one paying money and he wanted to talk to her. When we started to call her, he said, "Never mind." BUT THEN HE CALLED HER WHEN WE LITTERALY LEFT THE BUILDING. Also my appointment was 8 o'clock. Didn't start the test until 9:30, then was forced to have a hour break for lunch at noon. I stopped at 8:30. I was told it would only take 3-4 hours.
