Beach resorts on off-season is always touch and go. Some of them are fantastically kept up and others sadly are falling apart. This one is kind of in between it's definitely showing its age. My particular condo I was in was fine inside, but the building surrounding it and the amenities are very, very tired and worn out. Everything could use a power wash in a new layer of paint on the bright side. The view to the beach is phenomenal. The weather cooperated, and I had two days of summer like sunshine and that was a Gift.

Beautiful place and beautiful beach! Stayed at 1525 through Best Beach Getaways. Would definitely stay here again! Has a lot to offer, two pools, huge parking garage. Is conjoined with Wyndham Resorts. The room itself was clean and had a beautiful view of the beach. Washer and dryer also located in the room. We would love to stay here again!

Amazing place to stay at in Panama City, it's in a great spot close to pier park with great rooms and super fast elevators to get you to the beach fast. It also has a great pool and a nice size hot tub to relax in. There's a bar on site and a shop that sells ice cream and pizza. I've stayed here twice now and I can't wait till the next time!

Friendly and very helpful staff. Clean!! My only complaint is they shut their outdoor bar by pool down at 5. I would recommend this place to everyone. Very family friendly and great for kids of all ages! Loved it!

All those specks on the floor? Cockroaches! And the front desk said the room was just recently occupied!! Horrifying!!

This place was horrifyingly disgusting. It was like sleeping in a recently foreclosed apartment that hadn't been cleaned in years. Some of the features included other people's hair and crumbs on the carpet, stains of various sizes and sorts, grimy sheets, sticky floors, broken shower doors, jetted tubs that spray moldy water and balcony furniture adorned with a layer of bird poop. The star of the show had to be the alternate room we were offered when we complained that had dead cockroaches littering the kitchen floor. Needless to say we checked out immediately and will never ever be back. In addition to the disturbing lack of cleanliness is a management staff that refused to refund the rest of our prepaid stay. They seem completely at peace with the fact that their resort should be shut down for numerous health code violations. I would recommend you stay far far away from this place and all affiliated resorts and hotels.

Overall 3.75 Stars Located right on the beach in Panama…read moreCity, FL. You can get any closer to the white sands and ocean The building's architecture is unique due to its crescent style format and all the rooms have a wonderful view of the ocean and manicured beach. The interior of the building is modern with art Nuevo and beachy themes. It has a chill vibe where you can enjoy inspired beachy drinks and decent food. Just across the street, there other restaurants and shopping stores. The rooms were ok. It has been renovated but you can tell the room was old and dated. Scuff marks on the furniture, a "painted" full size fridge, and exterior balcony door that has seen some weather. The bathroom was a highlight with a recent renovation and it was light and bright. Water pressure was good too. The main reason why you pay extra and higher cost is for the ocean and beach view. Our balcony view was perfect for us. Great sunrise and sunset views. The breeze was gently enough to keep to somewhat cool and the music coming from the pool's grill bar was pleasant enough to dance or hum along. Only downside was the AC unit which can quite loud cuz it part of the balcony's exterior. But hey, it kept our room cool and refreshing. The hotel amenities includes, two restaurants (Italian / Mediterranean) inside, and pool grill (American), small excessive room (machines only), and the HIGHLIGHT - three different sections of the massive pool! A large main pool, a separate Lazy River, and a kids section with its own water playground. Also, a hot tub too. The lazy river was fun and relaxing. The grill bar had ample seats and on occasion they will have Live music. The other highlight was the beach. Just a 100 feet from the main entrance and pass the pool. Bam you are there! Also, they have lounge chairs and umbrellas for rental; $45 per hour or $60 for five hours. We opted for the $60, cuz you can walk back and forth to the grill bar for drinks and food and you don't have to worry on someone taking your spot. Definitely recommend the place! So take off your shoes and enjoy the time at pool and beach, and remember what Bobby McFerrin sang, "Don't worry, be happy"! Oh, see my other review on their Italian/ Mediterranean restaurant!

The amenities are fantastic and definitely worth the extra fee. They have a hula in the evenings that they encourage people to attend. The food at the bar is acceptable and the drinks are good, especially the margarita is strong. The other sugary drinks might not do their job. The staff was fantastic and I believe her name was Victoria at the front desk who was a delight to work with.

The master bedroom has a private door onto the patio which was super nice! The condo was clean, and spacious. Two big bedrooms, both with King size beds gave plenty room for us to spread out and move around. The biggest bonus was the QUEEN size bunk beds! There are two pools on the property that are beachside, and the beach is easily accessible. We like the fact that there are beach chairs right there for rent and you can also rent jet skis, parasailing, banana boat rides and boat trips to Shell Island. Across the street behind Alvin's Island you can rent golf carts. The condo kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook. There is also a full-size washer and dryer that was great to have to wash daily beach wear. I loved the fact that the parking garage was attached with a walkway, and you didn't have to attempt crossing the busy street with all your luggage and groceries. To access this condo, there is actually another elevator located on the west end of building. Made it easier to get to and from the condo. The main elevator on the 3rd floor at the walkthrough gets really busy at check-in and check-out time. Condo is close to great shopping, eating places and Pier Park. Right across the street from Shuckums. The only issues we had with the condo were minor for the most part. The blender in the kitchen didn't work. The shower head in the guest bathroom was made so that it would not angle all the way down and would spray out of the shower onto the floor if you opened door to get in/out. the guest bedroom REALLY could use some Blackout curtains. Alvin's Island is directly across the street and their lights stay on ALL NIGHT which makes it really bright in the bedroom. If you're a light-sensitive sleeper like me, you'll never get to sleep! I actually slept on the couch one night. The biggest issue was the sliding barn door closure on the kitchen closet. It is not secured with a guide on the floor and easily comes off the track when trying to open. It even fell completely off the track once and fell over onto my granddaughter. Fortunately, it did not injure anything or break. This is the most serious issue and really needs to be fixed/secured. All in all, the condo was great, our trip was great, and the weather was great. I would definitely go back to Aqua 511 again. Couldn't ask for anything better!

Our room was clean, comfortable, and felt fresh and well-maintained. Parking is available for a daily rate of $20, and I loved that breakfast is included with your stay. The breakfast buffet is available from 7-10 a.m., which made it easy to grab a bite before starting the day. The hotel also has a full-service pool with towels readily available, but honestly, the beachfront was my favorite! It was the perfect spot to relax and soak up the beautiful beach views. The staff were friendly and working hard to keep the entire facility clean and welcoming. We also rented an umbrella with two chairs for a half day for $50, which I thought was a very reasonable price for the convenience. One suggestion I would make is regarding the Starbucks coffee available on-site. While it's definitely a nice amenity, having a barista available would help alleviate some of the extra workload on the front desk staff, especially during busy mornings. Overall, we had a wonderful experience, and I'd definitely look forward to staying at Hyatt House again in the future!

Nine days after we left, Panhandle Getaways charged my credit card $105.51 for wristbands that we did not use, remove, or take from the condo. There was no valid reason for this charge, and I had to dispute it with my credit card company. Being hit with an unexpected charge more than a week after checkout is completely unacceptable and raises serious concerns about their billing practices. No guest should have to worry about unauthorized charges appearing on their card after their stay is over. It is unfortunate because the condo itself was wonderful, but trust matters when booking accommodations. Due to this experience, I would not stay with Panhandle Getaways again and would caution others to carefully monitor their credit card statements after booking with this company.

I decided to give Origin at Seahaven 3 Stars just strictly on looks in comparison to the…read moresurrounding hotels. Keep in mind this is the luxury hotel. I think they can use some tips in customer service though. I wasn't extremely pleased with my stay at this hotel during my Memorial Day weekend stay. However, I must say it by far is probably one of the best hotels on the strip (looks wise). The confusing and aggravating part about this hotel is that there are five different buildings located under this name. Before my trip nothing was throughly explained to me about fees or which of their many 5 building I'd be staying in. When I arrived I pulled into the Origin at Seahaven luxury style hotel and was told I needed to go across the street to check in. At no point, did anyone ever inform me that I'd be staying at the first hotel I pulled into. After racing across the street to check in to my hotel, I asked to change my card number on file as I wanted to put the entire hotel fee on the same card. I was informed that the hotel deposit, I paid was actually used towards my first night of stay and could not be refunded for that reason. ‍ Tired from my drive and anxious to get to my room, I told be hotel rep, that was fine and gave her a card to charge the remainder amount to. Upon receiving my key, she never once told me I was not staying in the hotel I checked in at. I searched around for my room for 20 mins! Only to find that it was not in that hotel. I drove down the street to the other three hotels under the main Seahaven chain only to find out my room wasn't at those two either. After spending an hour looking for my room, between each of these 5 buildings, I returned back to the second building I checked into only for the same hotel rep to tell me "oh you're across the street in the luxury hotel" ‍ After arriving to my room, it appeared to look decent. It was not what I anticipated but definitely looked a lot better than a lot of other hotels on the strip. They did not have room service, so you must request new towels on a daily basis, that may or may not be bought to your room at the time of your request. Overall I think the Origin at Seahaven needs to provide more clarity on how their hotel chain operates. I don't plan on staying here when I return to Panama City, although I liked the area in which I stayed and the hotel was not messy like many in the surroundings areas, I rather search for something better!
