Had to finally write a review to pass along some accolades. First of all, you walk in this place, and you hear the machines hard at work. I've never walked in and not seen this place humming. I know they get big clients, but I've never felt like my small orders (a dozen hats or some button down shirts w/ my logo) were unimportant. Steven or Megan is always very helpful and good at suggesting products without trying to 'upsell' me, which I can't stand. They digitized my logo when I first had it designed. This means that they translate it so that the embroidery machines can punch it out onto the hat, etc. I didn't know that you had to do this, but they took care of it quickly and cheaply. I do have to admit that during some tighter times last year I called a place in the area (that will remain nameless) to see what their prices were on hats. Scribbles Embroidery beat them by 20% easily. Learned my lesson. One thing that I didn't expect is that they have a very large selection of products in their storefront. Over the years I have seen the place expand quite a bit, and their storefront is now pretty impressive. Last week when I was there, I handed him a shirt off the rack and said "order me 6 of these with my logo." Beat the heck out of just doing the catalog ordering like I have in the past. One day I'll splurge and get my logo on some drink coasters or koozies or something for my clients. They take care of that, too.

They also sell fabric. The fabric ranges from everyday quilting cotton to Liberty of London cotton Lawn. Their yarn variety is fabulous too. They carry Borocco and Fiber---- (sp?) and active pair perfect sock yarn as well as many other weights. I like that they did have a lot of fiber that other shops don't normally carry. They also have roving and Ashford spinning wheels (kiwi 3 and country spinner) and Regis heddle looms. I went to buy a kiwi, and ended up with a lot more! The staff was super nice and allowed me to assemble the wheel in the store. They loaned me tools and had everything else I needed. I know there were ladies doing a sew or knit in in their back room. I didn't participate but listed in. I think they were welcoming of newbies and some of them knew each other a while. If I lived here, it would probably become a hangout for me. This is definitely on my list to stop by whenever I'm in the area. And I'm 100% sure I can get my girlfriends to do a roadtrip to come visit here. I'm so excited to find such a neat shop! I took my five month old embroidery machine that I purchased at Allbrands, in on May 3rd due to the wheel no longer turning . I was told there were 2 machines in front of mine. Today is July 30th and I Still don't have my machine back. I have called numerous times, contacted Brother directly and feel so overlooked and neglected.
