I never thought in a hundred years that a three-day workshop could shake me up (in the best way possible). Seriously, I can't recommend it enough to every Iranian woman and man out there. If you think you don't need it because you "don't have any big issues" well, guess what? You're wrong. Dead wrong. I have a great career, a fulfilling job, and no major drama in my personal life, yet I walked away with insights that blew my mind. Turns out, self-work isn't just for people who are struggling; it's for anyone who wants to level up in life. Dr. Sayan has somehow cracked the code on the deep, layered stuff that we Iranians carry (you know what I mean). And get this I avoided this workshop for eight years thinking it wasn't for me. Eight. I attended her workshop. The message she is delivering is good, but she is very abusive and unprofessional. Her assistants were very unprofessional too, they looked down at the workshop attendees and disrespected them. Another issue was that, an agreement about workshop rules were given to the attendees to sign after they had already registered and paid the workshop fees. It is normally the other way around! attendees should know what they are getting into before paying the money. She does not have any refund policy, so if you do not sign the agreement, the only option is to forget about your money and leave! Another issue was that she spent a big chunk of the workshop time advertising the next round of the workshop and giving special offers if the attendees register inside the workshop. I used to go to Dr. Sayan's short seminars years ago. I always enjoyed them. Lately, as she has grown her business, she has others running the administrative work (understandably), but most of them (not all) have an attitude and they think they are running a presidential press conference!!! I have been to 2 of the seminars in the past few months (most recently on 11/25/2019) and because of my illness, which I do not care to share here, I wanted to sit closer to the door. The lady who was "in charge" of seating the audience, would not even want to listen to me and insisted that I sit where she wanted me to sit (still behind the camera). There are a few ladies that keep walking around during Dr. Sayan's presentation, which is distracting and pointless. This is not a kindergarten classroom, folks! We're all adults. Let people sit where they want (first come, first served) but ask everyone to fill up the empty spots (I get the idea behind filming the event), and please do not walk around during Dr. Sayan's talk! What are you looking for as you are walking back and forth?!!! The information presented by Dr. Sayan was good and informative. She's knowledgeable, a good speaker, and her occasional jokes keep the seminar fun at the same time, but I left at the break because of where I was sitting. What I didn't like about her talk was the fact that she tried to put down a couple of her colleagues. She didn't name any names, obviously, but I think most people knew whom she was referencing! I have been doing couples sessions and individual sessions with Dr. Sayan for about 6 months now. At first I was a bit skeptical because the price was a bit higher than what I typically am used to paying for therapy. However, I am very pleased with my sessions with her and the results I have received from her therapy. Dr. Sayan has a brilliant ability to get to the root of every issue which makes her an incredible therapist. I'm a very self aware person and she was/is able to help me identify problems that I myself was unconscious to. Hello guys, I have been a student of Mrs Sayan. To be honest her work helps you to a certain level. That said, unfortunately like many established Iranians, she has lost the clue to what extend her ability stretches itself. She has chosen to be politically very ignorant, which I find a huge failure in an exiled psychologist offering help to the exiled community. Her concept of forgiveness is actually brutal promotion of "Toxic guilt". Her show is aired form Mr Jedari's TV station, a nowadays repentant betraying former refguee who has asked the Iranian consulate in US pardon, and now visits our beloved by mullahs occupied Iran every year. Mrs Sayan therefore but also due to own personal gain tries not to talk in a way that would endanger her business partners/associates in Iran. So what she does any time any one mentioning political obstacles inside Iran, she blame people and their resposibility for it. She voted to Rohani and proudy wired her stamped thumb on her instagram. When challenged by my question, she replied it's her private concern, which made me to remind her that public faces hardy can act privately on the public arena. She also in an interview with VOA called murderer mullahs occupying Iran "The anxious fathers of the society", trying to excuse them. Mrs Sayan even told a caller who had received lashes for drinking, "You should forgive the ones who did that to you, even inviting them to dinner, asking them forgivenss since by drinking you pushed them into doing such a violent job they have been hired for". Attending in their women only workshops was the greatest gift I ever gave myself and my family.

Based on my experience with Azita Sayan, I DO NOT recommend her at all, I have attended 2 of her workshops and one of her advanced course and here's my experience with her: - First of all, she's lying about her PhD degree and she's not a doctor, please check Board of Behavioral Science website/ license verification section to see that she is a Master level provider not a PH.D. - During her workshops as well as L&A course, she creates a kind of atmosphere that puts you under a lot of pressure to do some tasks that could be of serious potential threats to you and your family life afterwards and in case that you object, she just kicks you out. I started to have serious health issues after a while because some of the risky tasks that were assigned to us were not done in a professional manner by her uneducated assistant and when I told them about it, they just didn't give a damn and kicked me out without providing any support for the serious emotional shocks that they had created for me which could potentially put vulnerable people even in danger of suicide. - when I was removed from the course, she started talking to me in a threatening and insulting manner and she didn't stop it up to the point that I had to block her from everywhere. Also, during the workshops as well as the course, she literally cursed me several times in front of others and I had to keep silent because I knew that if I object, she would have removed me, but eventually I started objecting and stood up in front of her, because I never had the intention of graduating from a course that such a maniac person had planned. - her assistant consistently kept telling me to take drug instead of digging up my issues and trying to figure out how to solve them. - She's a greedy person who only and only cares about money and not about you and your problems. According to on my experience with Azita Sayan, I do NOT recommend her. She humiliates participants and pushes them to register her nonsense workshops that she runs. She only reads some routine documents in the workshops and charges you for the stupid topics that are on Youtube already. My experience with Embrace Growth: Ms. Sayan, is more of a business woman than psychologist. I would call her method mostly coaching and not therapy. I believe this is how she protects herself from the Board of Psychologists. Nevertheless, she has wonderful WOW and AWOW workshops. Although, I warn you, if you have severe problems, such as abuse and torture, prostitution, drugs, and matters requiring intense therapy, avoid these workshops because you will get severe depression afterwards and she leaves you hanging. If you need to talk to her for the antidote, her sessions are over $300. It is hard to decide whether to attend or not, because Ms. Sayan does not offer you a course syllabus. Her teaching methods are rather unconventional, so make sure you are okay with that. If you make your payments and even have an extenuating circumstance, which would prevent you from attending the course, she would not return your money. She lures you into believing that if you provide the paperwork as proof she would return your money, but she won't. So make sure you absolutely can attend. If you are a woman with lots of questions about life, men, past problems and mistakes and how to get over them, if you have the financial means to continue growing, and fund these workshops, I recommend them. They are basic and a good opening for other means of learning. I, however, absolutely do not recommend the Lovable and Adorable Course. Through this course, Ms. Sayan shows her real charlatan self. She charges $2500 for the course (I think she has jacked the priced to $3500 within 6 months), but double check with her unprofessional office first. You may have to call four times to get an answer. She promises 6 private sessions, unlimited email contact, and three conference calls. Beware that her conference calls mostly include the participants talking, she does not respond to your emails at all!!! If she does, she may write one word or one sentence. AND she cancels your sessions for no reason so you may end up with only 3 sessions after the course is done. There is no contract, there is no word, and no guarantee for anything. She does not remember your previous discussions at her sessions and you constantly have to remind her. She will give you contradictory information. Overall, while WOW and AWOW were beneficial workshops for me, I seriously warn you against dealing with this organization. I did not learn anything new in that workshop. She did not have any respect and was very rude and constantly was yelling at people to manage the workshop. All her talks and materials can be found in her books and seminars. Besides there are much more professional therapists and psychologist who you can get help from. She has some assistants at WS who try to force people to register for the advance workshop as well. It was really disappointing and I am really sorry for myself to spend lot of money and waste my time and energy on this. I do not recommend this workshop to anybody. Save your money and go to an actual therapist who has real education and knowlege. Do not give the office your credit card information or any money for that matter! Thay will take your money and won't accomidate you or even answer your phone calls! This woman and her organization is all about money! I signed up for one of Dr. Sayan's workshops that was due to be carried out in Dubai, UAE in June 2017. In April 2017, I was informed that the workshop was no longer going to be carried out in Dubai, the city where I was based at the time, and was going to be carried out in Yerevan, Armenia. I was not willing to incur travel costs for this workshop. I asked for a refund(they only responded 2 months later) and was denied several times. I did not sign up for a workshop in Yerevan and; therefore, should not be obligated to incur additional costs for travel. I was also due to have a surgery in June so I was unable to commit to travelling and since I was having my surgery overseas, my expenses were quite high. This was also communicated but my request for a refund was still denied with reason that if I could travel and be treated privately then I most certainly could have attended the workshop. (1) I should not have to explain to anyone how I spend my finances especially when it has to do with my health. (2) Regardless of what my reasons were, the terms of the contract changed in that the location changed rendering the contract null and void. I felt that the way in which Dr. Sayan and her team communicated with me was unethical and unprofessional. I approached the Better Business Bureau and Dr. Sayan did not respond to their attempts to get her side of the story. I am presenting also filing a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission so if this has happened to you please do send me a direct message.
