Compare with BA or US Bank they have more flexibility , easier to work with customers service is good and i do not have any problems yet . Once my wallet has been stolen and somebody tried to use my debit cards ( I do not have credit cards ) they took care promptly and in very efficient manner , money has been credited back without any problems . About 10 years ago i have similar issue with US Bank Somebody made around $7000 fraudulent transactions . Despite the criminals have been located it looks they have not been prosecuted , the money has not been returned . Based on my experience most of the Banks about the same How ever small banks usually has better service , less bureaucracy and more flexibility and more reliable than big ones. The same time they more careful about giving loans and credit cards . How ever it usually easier to get loan with them because less bureaucracy . I agree with other reviewers - they hang up the phone on their customers, extremely rude and unprofessional, yell, and are not helpful at all. I have no idea how these people get paid to drive customers away. While management makes excuses for their employees who are not held accountable and are not taught what customer service is, especially in this country. If this was my business/ branch, I would be furious. Stay away from this branch, bank, credit union.

This is not the place to do banking if you're looking for profressional and knowledgeable people. I…read morecan't think of a single interaction with this place that has gone smoothly during the past 4-5 years, at least not while dealing with our beneficiary IRA account. They have no clue how to deal with it, they're always having to check in with a manager, always a minimum of 30-60 minutes in the place before being told the transaction can't happen and we'll have to return when "so-n-so" is here. Now we're getting the same business over a 1099-R form we need to get our taxes done and it's mid-February. It should have been in our mailbox two weeks ago but instead we're having to wait an additional week for some other "so-n-so" to show up and figure it out. We're really looking forward to never having to deal with this place again a year from now, if and when we get the last 1099 from them to complete our taxes. I'm betting it's going to be the same or worse by then.

For more than a decade, I had two business corporate accounts one in Portland and the other in Vancouver. When the Portland business closed, I decided to make our joint personal checking account a Unitus account. Then in order to increase our options, ,my wife and I opened a Home Equity Line of Credit on our fully paid up house. The processes for everything was easy and without any hassles. While most financial institutions claim that you are a person, they treat you as a number with little regard for who you are or what you want or need. Unitus, in my experience, is just the opposite. I can call any time and resolve a problem or find an answer within minutes. They will even call back without keeping me on hold. Their promises are kept. Their staff is a pleasure to work with for all things. My business partners, my wife and I highly recommend this for almost all financial needs.

My response was that the account manager literally took an imprint of my drivers license before doing the data entry work for the account when I opened my account via video call. Didn't matter.
