I received a Riverview Bank flyer in the mail that read, "thinking about switching banks?" and I saw it as a sign. Walking into this bank is like stepping back in time in the best possible way. Friendly staff members greet you as soon as you walk in the door. They are so cheerful and helpful that I feel as though I am in a Disney movie. They seem to know all their customers by name and take time to converse with them. They may be the only business on the planet that uses the slogan, "It's all about you." Kyle H., Hannah, Brody, and Julia have been friendly, communicative, and proactive in assisting us in our banking needs. All the staff members are wonderful. They also answer the phone when you call....no annoying phone trees or having to leave a message and wait for a call back at the company's convenience. It has been years since I've felt that a bank cared about its customers and made relationship-building a priority. I don't know why I didn't switch sooner to a local, hometown bank, but better late than never! If you are tired of being treated like a number at your financial institution, consider the switch to Riverview Bank. They even gave me a gift (awesome pizza making pan) for opening up an account. How cool is that??

I had an issue with my policy renewal being more than it was suppose to (corporates fault - not the agencies what so ever). And I was charged the wrong amount. I gave a call to the office, spoke with Ryan (who was amazingly kind) and he saw that there was something off and asked if he could give me a call back. I figured it would be the next business day before I heard back. But he had it figured out after calling corporate in less than 2 hours. And I had a call back from him telling me the issue was resolved, that I would be getting a credit on my next bill for the mistake, and the amount I would be paying from here on out. Everything was so easy and painless. All in all, I have had NOTHING but an amazing experience with Spencer's agency. They are fast, they work hard, and they care about their people. I have had insurance companies treat me just as another dollar bill in their pocket. This agency doesn't do that. I would recommend them to anyone!.

However, she (naturally) isn't able to handle my account at all, so my review is strictly of the application process with Austin. I haven't used online banking at all yet so I can't really review it. This branch, the HQ, is a bit hard to reach because of a lot of annoying construction blocking off the main access, but you can't really fault CCCU for that happening in their area (and there are a couple other locations, including another one like a mile away on Sandy). The cozy little lobby has a coffee machine and hot water for tea if you're in the mood, and the people are warm and welcoming. The application process was quick and painless, and I got a member welcome packet a couple days later that had some helpful stuff like a voided check to change my direct deposit. One complaint though: the welcome packet was so huge it wouldn't fit in my mailbox so the mailman ended up just dropping it on my doorstep. Given that it did contain the voided check that could've violated the security of my account. All in all, seems good so far. EDIT: I said I might edit this review once I'd tried online banking. I did so and it seems good: has all the normal stuff like bill pay and should suit my needs perfectly.

Wix acted as my advisor, gathering information about my health care providers, medications, and general needs. They carried out the initial research, and then guided me through online steps that I could take myself, to further narrow down the choices to a final one that seemed best for me. They promptly and patiently answered my many questions, and ultimately made sure I was successfully enrolled well before the deadline. My understanding is that agencies like Wix are paid by whichever insurance company the client chooses, and the possible insurers all appear in search results at the federal Medicare web site, so Wix is free to concentrate on helping each customer find what truly works best for them.
