She said that our energy can get blocked for lots of different reasons, and we don't feel grounded, or balanced, or centred. Reiki helps to unblock our energy. There's no airy fairy stuff, no bells and whistles, she doesn't make claims or promises, she's just there with you 100 % for the 45 minutes. She seems to know where your aches and pains are, but doesn't make a big deal about it, she just gently places her hands there. She said that energy flows to where its needed, and it's not always where we think we need it. Sometimes its physical, sometimes emotional, sometimes spiritual. She doesn't diagnose or give advice, because she says thats not her place, her place is just to be there with you, and allow the energy to flow.
