Not only has the owner brought in locally made pieces (think hand knit sweaters and smocked dresses), but she also carries fabulous children's designers I hadn't seen anywhere else. Beth (the owner) kindly indulged me in my grandmother fantasy, and happily introduced me to some of the great books and games she carries, too. I left with a "Letters to my Grandchild" book - the first of many purchases to come, I'm sure.

She also has a generous return policy for items that do not work out for whatever reason--unusual for a small business. With so much on line shopping, we are fortunate to have this small shop with a beautiful selection and great service.

I went with the banana lip balm and it has been such a delight to use over the last few days that I have had it. I also picked up a jarred candle to enjoy at home. I was bummed to not be able to take them up on their three for $25 offer, but I didn't have enough suitcase room. I look forward to using the candle at home and continuing to appreciate the lip balm.
