The boiler was making a terrible noise when I turned it on and the service guy said it would last for years if I didn't mind the constant loud humming. I turned it on this morning for an hour and then when I went to do the laundry I noticed the reservoir they installed was empty. I filled it and it made a terrible noise even though the heat was turned off. It totally drained again. Where the heck could it be going in a closed system? I phoned and they said they would see what they could do. I am 72 years old and I am trying to get the heat in working order for the winter. LPH originally installed this boiler.

We had an issue with our furnace shutting down every winter about 3 weeks before christmas. It happened 3 years in row. Every time we called LPH to come fix it, they arrived, 'fixed' the issue in minutes. They charged a full hour+parts+emergency call out fee. This year when it happened we called a different HVAC company, they showed me the 1 fuse, wrapped in tin foil, which needed replacement to fix the issue permanently. A $3.00 part which they refused to charge me for and didn't even charge for the call out. LPH had been screwing me for $300.00 a year, every year by band-aiding the problem rather than replacing the inexpensive part. I would never recommend these guys to anyone. Except if you need heat ASAP and they are the only ones in Leduc that can help you. But when you get a chance have another company come out to review their 'work'.
