A gas pump
Dan B.

They shut off the damn pumps overnight. The pumps have credit card readers and the assholes here shut the pumps off anyway.

If you're into gas or if you need gas then this is the perfect place for it maybe not the cheapest but definitely not the most expensive.

Cashier wouldn't let me use the bathroom during emergency after I've paid for gas. Unnecessarily rude. Wouldn't recommend going here.

Lady literally hung up on me when I was trying to ask if the credit card machine worked. Super frustrating.

I appreciate that this is one of the oldest lasting gas stations in our neighborhood. I also…read moreappreciate that it is cents less expensive than the Chevron down the way, and the Willow Gas the other way. If you are going to get gas here, however, do not get it when children are getting out school. There were several cars parked in the way of the gas pumps because they were waiting for their children to come there. I would assume that these people do not want to get stuck in the traffic of the school lines picking up children from the front the school, so they wait for their children to walk to this gas station where they are waiting. I am surprised that the gas attendants allow this to happen because it makes for a lot of traffic in a small space. One lady waited in her white SUV on her phone, and kept having to reverse and drive to make room for people wanting to buy gas. When her kid finally got there, she reversed against traffic to get back onto the road during the busiest time of the day. Not only was this dangerous to other drivers, it was dangerous to the other children that were walking here for that same reason. What's concerning is the fact that there were several cars parked at the gas station for the same reason, and all of them drove wrecklessly! This gas station should really look into this because it makes is a dangerous place and although the gas in either direction is more expensive, they could gather more customers because of this unsafe space of parked cars waiting on children, driving recklessly, and then holding up the space for people who want to buy gas.

This gas station is very well lit at night with no blind spots as it were so I wasn't afraid to…read morepull up and fill up here. There are 8 pumps so it isn't a huge gas station but it was quiet at night. Cash customers have to prepay before filling up. If you're paying by card, payment is accepted right at the pump. An odd observation was that it smelled really clean, almost like someone had wiped down the pumps with cleaning liquid or something. I found that the prices at this gas station were exactly the same as other nearby stations like Shell.

Went in on Friday for a smog on my Camry and Ravi was able to assist me and take care of my vehicle…read moredespite not having an appointment. Ravi took care of me and valued my time as a first time customer and got it done within 20 mins as he promised. Good and reasonable pricing for a smog. Other shops were charging $120 + for a simple smog.

I do NOT recommend these guys. I took my car in for a CA smog check, for which they charge $50,…read morewhich includes the mandatory DMV $8.25 transmission fee, and the station's $41.75 fee for running the test. As I later learned, the first step checks whether the car's emission monitors are set. As it happens, because my car had been in another shop for unrelated body work, apparently the battery had been disconnected during repairs. That then required the emission monitors to be reset, which happens normally during the first 100 or so miles of driving. As my mechanic later informed me, at that point a reputable smog and repair station would have told me to drive for a couple days and come back to have the test run. Instead, Palo Alto Shell charged me their entire $41.75 fee - for nothing - and said I'd have to return for a retest for an additional $50. My regular mechanic told me all this after the fact, and offered to check the monitors (for free) before I took it for another smog check. Needless to say, I'll go elsewhere for my smog check and will never go to Palo Alto Shell again for gas or any other service.
