I had her valentines sampler and it was very tasty and pretty ! I'll be using her cupcakes for a shower and they are gluten free!

After a long wait, I finally received a response on October 29 apologizing for the delay and confirming my date was available. They asked me to schedule a call through their portal to discuss details, which I did for November 4. Unfortunately, they did not show up for the call. They eventually connected with me later that day, and I sent inspiration photos to help with planning. After that, I heard nothing until January 16, 2026, when Katie messaged me asking if I had seen her proposal. She apologized for the lack of follow-up and said she would resend it if needed. I informed her that I had not received the proposal in my spam or portal, and she promised to resend it the next day. However, by January 17, I still had not received anything. I followed up again on March 1, 2026, hoping for some progress. Despite the ongoing communication issues, I was drawn to their work because of the beautiful photos and event space they showcased on Instagram. I really wanted to use their services. On March 2, I finally received a response from Stephen, who explained Katie was attending a conference but assured me I would get the proposal within a few days, no later than the end of that week. Now, 20 days later, I have received no proposal and no further follow-up. I am left with no choice but to look elsewhere. If I could give zero stars, I would. I cannot comment on their food or event space because I was never able to utilize their services. I want to support local small businesses, but this experience has been incredibly disappointing and frustrating.

Covid hit and my husband got furloughed from his place of employment. By June my husband was still furloughed. Due to this turmoil my daughter decided this was not the right time to plan or have a wedding. I contacted Special Occasions on June 22nd to cancel the wedding fully expecting due to the circumstances they would most certainly refund my $500.00 deposit. They refused. They stated sorry for your sad news. Your deposit is transferable until September 30, or can be used for another event or pick up of food by September 30 as well. I said I have to pick up $500.00 worth of food? So I opted to pick up the food. I figured at least I'd have food to eat for my $500.00. I pick the food up and bring it home. I go to eat the chicken and it's awful! I couldn't even eat it. Then I sent the stuffed shells to my son in college thinking hey these college kids will love a nice dinner of stuffed shells. He said they weren't great. If this tells you anything, he didn't want another pan of them. I cannot believe I paid $500 for this food! Unbelievable. I do not recommend this catering company at all.

We waited 15 minutes while we watched the staff chatting with what I assume is the owner. Lunch typically means your patrons have limited time to dine. No acknowledgment of our wait. They finally came over after I ask if we needed to come to the counter to order. Not a great first impression. Way too expensive for the market. $7.50 for a regular sized latte. $21 for a hamburger with breakfast potatoes which were poorly cooked. Chicken salad sandwich was lacking moisture. Rye bread and salad were good. Not good enough to make me want to come back. Our lunch bill was $53. Take two because why not give a local business A 2nd chance. I honestly don't have the energy to tell you not to go here. Disappointment filled the experience. I made a reservation. Walked to the counter in the back since it's seat yourself. After the owner who did not acknowledge us, snapped at the employee who then provided directions to our table. Resulting in another rude interaction with her boss telling her to take us to the table. Service was terrible not because staff is not capable but IMHO they are not provided training or support. Who serves a breakfast sandwich on an untoasted English muffins? Not crunchy craggy spots to capture the egg yolk to provide a sound, smell and feel experience when eating. Pricing and consistency was all over the place. My latte was only $5 this trip.... And my friends looked like a different type of coffee (she ordered the same thing). Also. Sandwich is not spelled with a "t" unless of course it's made by a coven with spells cast for diner's enjoyment. They need to decide if they are a seat yourself coffee shop where you order from the counter. Or a sit down order from a menu and be greeted restaurant. You can't be both. We were ask if we wanted to dessert and told to go take a look in the case for the bakery items. I'm sad that I don't like this local spot. I usually love local.
