Unfortunately, the weather interfered with our ability to see as much as we had hoped, but we still had a great time! There is a nice visitor center with a variety of historic and nature info available, including some great info on the CCC work that took place in the park (there's a really nice interactive model of a CCC camp too) and how and where the park name is suspected to have been derived from. There is a real snake to look at, as well. A very nice playground is located nearby, and this section of the park also offers easy access to the Loysalsock Creek and the beach with a snack bar, plus multiple picnic tables and shelterhouses. It's beautiful even just to look at the valley walls and the creek itself. There are several gorgeous vistas available, some by foot and some by foot or car. We especially liked the Loyalsock Canyon Vista, which can be reached on foot or by car. It is located next to the Rock Garden, which is a very neat grouping of giant rocks and boulders that is a lot of fun to check out. The park also offers camping and plenty of trails. Worlds End is located within the Loyalsock State Forest, so there is also a lot more that one could explore in the area.

Early in the morning, the volume of the music doesn't pierce through whatever you have going on in your noise cancelling ear buds. Other gym members and staff members are friendly and positive. You get SO MUCH for your money, including a pool, sauna, and classes in just about anything you'd like AND there are fantastic gyms across the country that you have access to when you travel.

At one point she sat down and the song just kept going. Very bad experience for a first time visit to this facility. I don't believe these instructors are Zumba certified.

Treasure Castle Playland is a pretty cool place to visit in South Williamsport if you have younger…read morekids. It's an older church converted into a child's playland. Very similar to Chuck-E-Cheese, Gymboree or Bounce U. Admission is 6 dollars for ages 1-3 and 9 dollars for 4-12, one parent is free per child, extra parents are 2 dollars a person. They have two floors of adventure, including padded play area, fortress climb wall, blocks, panning for gold, a Castle Garden for younger kids, coin-operated amusements, a food court, learning computers, free wi-fi, and all sorts of kids stuff available for purchase. Our 2 year old had a blast there. Ample parking available, next to Little Tresures Daycare.

This is a gorgeous forest in the Endless Mountains region. We came to the area to visit Worlds End…read moreState Park, which lies inside of it, and moved between the two checking out some of the wonderful sights! One neat feature is the High Knob Overlook, which allows you to look out over 80% of the forest, according to the signage available at the top, from 2,047 feet up. The views were stunning. It's accessible via a hike or by driving - there is a nice-sized parking lot available on top. We were also fortunate to have a storm move in while we were there, and it was really fascinating to watch. We also drove by Dry Run Falls, which you can pull over and see from your car, though we did stop and get out to enjoy it. There are nearby picnic tables too. Loyalsock State Forest is well worth a visit!
