The pharmacy turnover rates are the worst I've ever seen at a business. when customers call, walgree makes customers run through a lengthy menu and promotional ads (really?!). The AI is almost funny as it asks how can I help you. After finally convincing AI it can't help me, I'm placed on interminable hold. (incidentally the AI is the last pleasant voice you'll hear). The system repeats we sorry blah blah. Today the system said hang up and call back. What?! I've been on hold forever and I must hang up. unfortunately I finally talked to a human. She hung up on me. oh sure she said have a nice day in the middle of my sentence but I was talking to a dead line. U may certainly go here if u wish. just a warning: staff is rude, defensive, uncaring and slow.

When I got to the pharmacy counter, there was a huge sign saying, "Covid vaccine check-in." So I stood at the counter under the sign and waited patiently. While I was waiting, customers started walking up to the "pick-up" line, and the middle-aged white woman starting waiting on the customers in the pick up line. After about 10 mins, she turned to me and said, "what are you waiting for?" I said, "I have an appointment for a Covid vaccine and I would like to check-in." She said, "there is only one line" and pointed for me to get at the end of the pickup line which was empty when I got there but had since filled up. I pointed to the large sign above my head and the fact that there was nothing indicating that the line was closed. She said, "I'm just one person so there is just one line." She could've told me that when I got there. She had seen me standing there when no one else was there and said nothing. Needless to say I walked out without getting my vaccine, and I will never go back.
