The days of good discounts on higher end furniture are long gone and having to deal with the sales…read morepeople is a lot like the car buying experience. What they do have is a massive selection, much of which feels pretty similar despite being from a wide variety of vendors. If you want higher end furniture, this is probably the place to get it because the prices are at least a bit less than the other options. I wouldn't say you're getting any big savings though, and for some things I feel the prices are even a little inflated. It is a pretty neat visit though. The place is massive and they have a lot of cool pieces from furniture to art.

Extremely disappointed with my experience…read more I purchased a leather sectional from Furnitureland South and also paid for a 5-year warranty because I expected to have protection for an expensive furniture purchase. Unfortunately, when the sectional was delivered, I immediately noticed several scratches, including a couple of very deep scratches on the leather. I contacted customer service less than 24 hours after delivery to report the damage. I was told that the scratches may have occurred during packing and that my warranty does not apply because the damage did not happen inside my home. This is extremely frustrating. If the furniture arrived at my home already damaged, why am I being held responsible for when or where the damage occurred? I reported the issue almost immediately after delivery, which should clearly indicate that the damage was present when I received the sectional. I purchased both the sectional and the 5-year warranty expecting Furnitureland South to stand behind the quality of the furniture and provide support when something goes wrong. Instead, I feel like I'm being given a technicality to avoid addressing damage that was there from the moment I received the furniture. For the price of the furniture and the additional cost of the warranty, I expected much better customer service and accountability. Very disappointed with both the condition of the sectional upon delivery and the way my concern was handled.

I emailed the store with photos and choy of my receipt but received no reply. I continued to email them, escalating to several people and emailing at least once a day. Finally they responded that they had to check with the manufacturing plant. After, 2 months of putting me off with various excuses and my having to email them once a day they finally agreed to replace the cushion cover but i would have to pay for is delivery or drive to high point to get it. The drive is an hour and a half away but they would not budge. I believe a reputable business would have responded to my initial emails and that they would have, either repaired the cover or sent me a replacement without playing games for 2 months and making me go up and get it. I would not recommend them and caution people to be wary of them.
