I have both a doctor's RX and he has training papers to prove he is a service dog. I stepped inside to tell the clerk that he's a service dog protected by the ADA. The other clerk started screaming hysterically "GET OUT!" Now both clerks were hysterically screaming I wasn't able to make out much of what they were trying to say in their hysterical state. I lost my cool. I'm not used to people screaming at me at the top of their lungs. I replied "STOP SCREAMING AT ME!" The reply was "GET THE FUCK OUT!" I left. The female clerk followed me into the parking lot still screaming. I have no idea what she screamed. I simply couldn't understand her. Service dogs are legally recognized as durable medical equipment, just like a wheel-chair. UPDATE A friend of mine called Long's to explain the ADA. Whoever answered the phone told my friend they wanted me to wait outside while they secured their dog. I heard them scream DOG, maybe she meant her dog. No idea, I was unable to understand them do to hysteria.

It sounded like a great deal. He gave the phone to a lady who spoke broken English to get the address, make, and model. After waiting for an hour we called back to confirm the address. They had written down the wrong address. He said it would be about a half hour before he could get to us. We politely told him we had already waited an hour to which he replied " I am giving you a discount." and he hung up. Called back and told him we found someone else. I feel he was very unprofessional. He had the wrong address and didn't even take a phone number to get a hold of me if he had any questions. The price was right but the service was sub par!

My boiler kept going out, and Marty (who is very personable, informative, and honest) was an absolute pleasure to do business with. He was very conservative with his approach, fixing the cheapest possible cause first. He ordered an expensive part and kept it in his, so in case the first round of repairs was not enough to fix the malfunction, he could come over quickly and get my heat back on without any delays. Luckily, that first thing wound up fixing the issue, and I didn't have to pay for what would turn out to be an unnecessary, much costlier repair. It doesn't hurt that the company has very customer-friendly policies: responsive 24 hour service (not just lip service), no diagnostic charge if a repair exceeds the cost of the visit, and no charge for any subsequent visits for the same problem within 30 days. Trustworthy, reliable repair is notoriously hard to find, but I've found it here!

I've done lots of roofing before but decided that I didn't want to deal with this somewhat complicated roof. I called Mark Bingaman at Bing's Construction for a quote. He came to my house the next day to look at and measure the roof for the quote, which he provided a day later. I had already received a few quotes. His quote was competitive, and he struck me as a trustworthy person; his explanation of what his crew would need to do and how they would do it fell in line with my expectations based on my roofing experience. When his crew showed up, they were ready to work. They worked fast and efficiently, while paying attention to the smallest details. They had the entire job done in one day. The roof looks great. The cleanup was amazing. The concern for my flowerbeds, windows, deck and balcony was obvious. When they left at the end of the day, there were no signs that they had even been there - except for a great looking new roof. I highly recommend Bing's Construction for your roofing needs. Hell, I would consider them for other projects on my house if I weren't such a DIY-er.
