The best dentist I've ever had- he's done more work on me than any other dentist!…read more Dr. Blackett was a recommendation from a family member after I went through a year of visiting different dentists for my teeth problems. I was told by one I needed a $30,000 worth of work(!), another said I only needed a few things done, and didn't look very thoroughly. I felt totally lost. I had no idea who to trust, what I really needed... and honestly all of my dentist experiences have left me feeling in the dark, hoping that the right thing was done, sometimes finding out it wasn't. With Dr. Blackett, it was like a light was turned on- he explained everything to me, even when I hadn't asked a question. Everything I needed done was explained. As he did the work he checked in every few minutes to make sure I was ok. He told me what he and his assistant were doing each step of the way, so I didn't sit on edge wondering if I should be expecting a surprise. On top of this, he is the fastest dentist I've ever had. Maybe that's because his assistant is very experienced and had everything prepared ahead of time. They obviously made a great team. At every point in my experience it was clear that Dr. Blackett was working with precision and efficiency. He understands the patients position and treats you like a valued client, not a number. If you are looking for a dentist who can handle your nervousness, walk you through things carefully and do things right and FAST, this is the one for you. I'd also recommend him if you are looking for someone who isn't going to go on auto pilot with your care, but actually gives you good customer service. His whole office is very friendly and un-rushed. He's so good, I drive two hours to see him. I live in Portland.

One of the first things I noticed is how efficiently they run--they always start right on time, which is so rare and highly appreciated. The doctors are true perfectionists who settle for nothing less than flawless work. They took the time to ensure the results were exactly what I wanted, and the pricing was very reasonable for the exceptional quality of care provided. On top of that, the logistics are seamless; parking is completely covered and handled, taking all the stress out of the visit. As a fun bonus, the clinic is located in a beautiful building with a fantastic French bakery just upstairs. The efficiency of their process is unmatched. The entire team stayed on, which says a lot about Dr. Choi. The other day I went in for a scheduled filling. They found, after numbing my gum and a few quick races with their brand new little x-ray gun (which makes it incredibly easy by the way) that there were a few small cracks in the tooth, but actually no cavity. Since I have terrible insurance right now and couldn't really afford to pay for the service, Dr. Choi said "no problem. We can defer this and there will be no charge for today." it is so refreshing these days when so much in life is so transactional. He just wanted to make sure that I had to care that I needed and that I could afford. This is a five star review. Thank you, Dr. Choi and welcome to the dental practice!
