I did not expect to leave a medspa feeling genuinely appreciated. Perhaps the last place I went to…read morehad bad energy or something of that nature, but I truly felt loved and seen today. I went in for a consultation where I got to share all my aesthetic insecurities. Despite the vulnerability, I felt empowered to make the right decision for me. Further, my decision was treated with respect which made me feel more confident about moving forward. I ended up getting masseter Botox for my TMJ. My injector made me feel comfortable and even provided me with anxiety relief tools. She was precise, patient, and provided wonderful patient care. Unfortunately, my injector is no longer at this business but I'd be willing to see others who are also qualified and experienced. I also appreciate the complementary 2 week follow up because it alleviates any concerns about possible complications.

Very similar review to the average of those here. It is about half and half. The studio is very…read morebeautiful, everyone is nice, but it is overpriced. I have only had Dysport, nothing else and recently went to an equally if not a better location for similar injectables at the Vancouver waterfront and it was a fraction of the price. You can also find Groupons (then cross check their Yelp reviews) for a fraction of that. I usually prefer to do lasers etc when I travel because it is MUCH LESS than of the price for the same treatments in the states, but I usually get Botox at home. Overall the vibes are weird, cons of treatments (other than dangerous) aren't really shared, or alternative options for the look you want are not shared (if not sold here) similar to other reviews. I originally tried Dysport in my massetur muscles in my jaw for tension. It helped of course but I did notice slight jowling after which I found out was correlated/caused from Botox in the jaw from tiktok vids. Needless to say, it isn't addressing the underlying problem and is just a bandaid. My last appointment here, I shared I wanted to look a little lifted and refreshed mostly under my eyes. I had done lasers and microneedling in the past which helped, but was short lived. Now -- more thanks to tiktok -- I probably need to fork over for sculptra or sofwave. This will NOT be fixed by injectables. My nurse told me she could do a little cheek filer and some other filler around my face. Mind you, I'm terrified of filler. Potentially I would want a facelift down the line which I have heard can complicate that process, but mostly I don't like the bloated look, it is often so obvious and then you become blind to it, keep getting it, and look crazy. Especially in the cheeks. I already have full lips so I don't need that. It was sold as if it would even out my face and give more balance, and I thought about it, did trust the nurse, who had great texture but who's own filler was still a tad overdone, making me a little wary. It's not like Botox where it wears off over months. You're getting it "dissolved" or whatever with little lumps lying around forever, so I wanted to take the time to think about it and ended up canceling. I could see others being very pressured and trying at the appointment even though I'm sure this is as overpriced as Botox and it gives you the vibes they're trying to hit a metric. They should give you options--even if they don't offer the treatment--for the result you are looking for.

I almost didn't go to this place because it didn't have a website. I'm a website girl - I like to…read moresee the pricing, I like to see pictures, and I'm just a computer nerd. Of course, that's a little bit of a catch-22 because if I hate your website, then I'm out. Overall, I'm so very glad that I did head to this adorable little place. I'll preface all this with saying that it was the first bikini wax ever - so I can't really say whether it was okay or not... of course, having nothing to compare it to, I'd say that it sucked. :) The leg wax was only the second of it's kind - and that too sucked. The first was only better because it involved copious amounts of wine. Why do we have to go through so much pain to be gorgeous? Well, we must do what we must do... and I will continue to go here while I continue to attempt outer beauty. The building is adorable, comfortable, and inviting and Heidi and Jill are as friendly as can be. I've got a facial all set up, and another waxing scheduled... so glad that I am not going to be shaving anymore. I hate that even more than waxing, and the girls at Bare make waxing about as good as it can be. Just keep thinking, I'm going to look gooooood.

Let's just get this out there: I'm a trans woman and they have been fantastic about it, including transitioning from old name to new (and associated pronouns) without skipping a beat. For that reason alone I'll give them five stars. Since that little demographic update I've gone back a few times and with different people, each one just as considerate as the last. I don't get a really complicated regimen done, but I've loved my brows every time and they have all helped at moving from bushy things to some pretty cool arches. Ripping hair off my chest is pretty standard I guess, it comes out. Additionally, after a pretty disastrous venture at the Sephora tutorial counter (no fault of Sephora staff...) I went to Bare for their makeup lessons. I wish I was better with names because the girl who helped me catch up on about 20 years of makeup practice was really sweet and kind even when dysphoria was kicking its ugly head up. I asked for a really basic, technique (not product) focused lesson and was quite happy with everything we went over.
