The Shop Screenprinting came up in my search but didn't have any reviews. I went to their Facebook page and saw all of the wonderful work that they've done and do, and they're located right here in the City of Detroit!! Can't get any more local than that. I dropped the backpack off. The owner and I spoke and he said he wasn't able to embroider right on the backpack but gave me the option of doing a patch. I really wanted it on the backpack, but I went with the patch, as I really wanted to spend MY money in MY city! I picked up the backpack today and I couldn't be more pleased with the work. I placed an order on October 19th and never received a confirmation email. About five days later, I…read morecalled and was told my stickers had been ready for pickup -- even though I live in another state. They offered to replace my original white background stickers with a clear backing version since I'd ordered the wrong type by mistake. The white ones worked perfectly, but the clear ones were a major issue -- the logo and wording kept peeling and ripping on all but one of the stickers I applied, even when following proper instructions. When I called today to explain, the man on the phone repeatedly interrupted me and made assumptions about what I was doing wrong (like the type of cup used), even though I'd already clarified those details. When I pointed that out, he told me he could help if I stopped cutting him off. Then, without asking for my name or order number, he abruptly said he'd refund me because "he had my number." Another worker mentioned their email inbox was full when I said I'd already sent pictures and a video showing the issue. The man never asked to see them or pull up my email. Overall, the product quality and customer service experience were both disappointing.

I have not been happy with the finished DTF prints. I have consistently received prints with a…read morevisible white outline that is not part of the design. Many times, it's not an outline that is centered around the letter so it's not neat. When I bring it to their attention, I'm told that "everything" I submit has the white outline which is not correct. Then, I was told that DTF will "always" have a white outline around it. Then, I was told, "Well, just put it on a lighter shirt, and you won't be able to see it!" Lastly, it was just met with a shrug - however, I know that the machine can be adjusted, but it seems that they aren't willing to do that. I ignored the smeared print before and started checking everything before I leave the store; but I'm extremely disappointed with the lack of working to make things right especially after I have paid my money!! Do better!
