She booked an eye test and contact lens appointment online and received an email stating that her appointment would be between 13.00 and 18.00. As there was no further communication from Vision Express we assumed they meant we should just turn up between those times and wait for someone to see us. We took the tube to Stratford and walked into the shop around 16.00 only to be told by an individual with zero personality or customer care skills that there was no appointment, because the mobile number my friend provided was French, not UK-based so they didn't feel like calling her on it. Charming. They wanted her to come back next week for an eye test, then back again several days later for the contact lens appointment. So we went across the road to Specsavers, who were delightful and sorted it out.

Me and my family (wife and two children) have going here for over twenty years…read more Looking at the previous review from 2015, I can only say that in all that time the service and professionalism of Heather and her team has been exceptional. We have never been pressurised in to buying anything. We have popped in numerous times with broken or bent glasses for them to be repaired (usually free). The care she extends to patients is first class and advice on eye health and care very welcome. Her examinations and testing are thorough. I don't usually write reviews but I feel the previous review is so far from my experience it should be given some balance.

I went to eye fasions optician, 7 palace parade high street, walthamstow last year. And then…read morereceived a card from them this year to go again. I called them to book an appointment, which i did , going into great detail on my name and address, and benefits and explained i had been last year. I was told that was fine and it was booked. Then today i got a voicemail to call them , which i did, no explanation why on the vmail. And was subjected to the most horrific abuse from the ''man'' I spoke to . I was asked to spell my name 4 times, which i did. I was then told that they could not find my record. I asked them why they did not tell me they couldn't find me when i initially booked, and you would think i had asked him something proposterous and insulting. I was told and subjected to a barrage of very curt and abusive behaviour, and basically bawled at . He said that they were only now looking for my card that's why, and if that s the way it was i just had to accept that. I said that is fine, i was only asking as they had after all called me and i just wanted to know why they were calling as when i initially booked the appointment i had gone into great detail about all this, so was just surprised that they were only telling me that they could not find me now a few days later, and that surely i was entitled to ask why they had called me, thats all i was doing. As before he started shouting and bawling I hadn't a clue why they had left me a message. I did my best to calm this imbecile down, but to no avail, he just kept shouting over me. He then called me rude for asking the question at all , and then said he did not want to talk to me anymore, told me if i was not happy with being asked this to not use their optician at all, that he was cancelling my appointment, as he had had enough of me?! Told me if this was the kind of questions that i was going to ask to go and use another opticians, And he literally told me to go and ''bugger off'' !! before slamming the phone down on me. I did ask him before his extremely loud rant if he could give me his name (which he refused to do) and if i could speak to a manager (which he also) refused to do. All I know was that he was male and had a thick foreign accent (i think Arabic sounding but i just know it as a thick foreign accent) However i suffer from severe clinical depression. I do not want or need someone calling me, leaving a voicemail, and when i call back subjecting me to horrendous verbal abuse and insults.
