My car looks better than ever and inside and outside with a full detail on top of fixing all my body work. Dana even fixed some additional body moldings that were loose! Been going to D & S Auto for over 30yrs between accidents that were my fault or someone else. I originally went to see Dana after getting multiple estimates and finding Dana to be most honest and straight forward shop. Nothing has changed in all my years. Dana has handled everything for me on every claim. Over the years he's dropped me off at the car rental shop, dealt with the insurance companies and fought form me during every step of the process. He even helped fix a broken lock on a used car I had. Nothing related to an accident. I just drove by and asked his opinion and he ran in grabbed some tools and was able to fix it. That is just the type of customer service you can expect. Highly recommend D&S Auto! Sean F.

Unfortunately, my experience with this shop was unacceptable. The job was straightforward: remove,…read morerepaint, and reinstall the front and rear bumpers on a 20‑year‑old collector car that had sun-faded paint. Despite the simplicity of the work, the results were far below any reasonable standard. The car left this shop and went directly to an engine specialist, who immediately pointed out issues stemming from the bumper work. What should have been a routine cosmetic refresh instead created additional problems and unnecessary expense. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this shop for collector‑car work of any kind.

I found this place because it's an Allstate approved shop. Richie's professionalism and kindness…read morereally made me feel like a valued customer and at ease. My Lexus was rear-ended, and when Richie looked at the damage, he explained what he could see initially, as well as what he might see once the bumper was off (bent metal rod, sensors may need a reset). He asked me about my availability, being so willing to work around my schedule as much as possible, and he gave me a date to return my car to be worked on. It was a week later than I thought, and when I tried asking if there was any room in the scheduled to get my car in sooner, Richie was sympathetic and realistic, and he offered helpful advice when dealing with a rental, considering my last negative experience. As promised, the day I dropped my car off, it was worked on, and I got regular updates. I got my car back in 10 days (Richie estimated a couple of weeks, and the updates extimated almost four weeks, so faster than both of those estimates), and it is so beautiful! Richie gave it back to me impeccably clean, as if I just bought it (I have young kids, so it was messy when I dropped it off), and it was so shiny and fresh!! I did notice a tiny bit of black filler or adhesive just oozing out of a crack, but it is so minute, and it actually feel comforted that every little detail was taken care of. I hope people are done playing bumper cars with me so I don't need to have my car repaired again, but if I do, I'm calling my friend Richie! I hate talking on the phone these days, but late in the afternoon of picking up my car, I got a message from Lexus that there was a "malfunction in the Intelligent Clearance Sonar System." Richie told me this could happen, and he drove my car around a little after the repairs, but I guess the system didn't register any issues until I drove it further. I immediately called Richie, and he gave me some options of how to handle it, leaving it up to me to decide what was easiest. I trust Richie a lot and appreciate his kindness. If anyone out there is not nice to him, stop it and check yourself! By the way, whether you're dropping off/picking up your car, check out R & S Jamaican Restaurant directly across the street...Sherlett and Robert will take care of you, too!

John and his Team at Ace Auto go above and beyond for their customers! They deserve 10 stars!…read more I brought my Dodge Durango R/T into Ace Auto Body after I was in an accident. Ace wasn't on the insurance company's list of "preferred" shops; the insurance adjuster went as far as trying to talk me into sending my vehicle to another shop but I'm glad I never did!! It is very apparent that John and his Team at Ace Auto work for you, with your best interest in mind and not the insurance company's!! John kept me updated every step of the way while we waited for the insurance company to send out appraisers and rework their reports (he provided me with far more information on the status of my repair claim than my insurance company ever did!) Although my Durango ended up being totaled and Ace Auto didn't complete body work to it, John provided excellent customer service and went above and beyond to help me navigate my insurance claim that involved two insurance companies, 3 appraisers and 2 months of insurance adjusters dragging their feet handling my claim. John guided me to make sure I received a fair valuation of my vehicle, helped me research comps and valuations and helped settle my nerves when the insurance company was trying to strong arm me. He was available by phone, text and email even while on vacation, on a National Holiday and after business hours; you'll never find that with an insurance company's "preferred" body shop!! When it came time to clean out my vehicle and release it to the insurance company, John and Joe helped remove and load all my belongs into the car I was driving. Joe made sure I took my ezpass transponder and carwash pass that I would had totally forgotten. Ace will be my first recommendation and certainly my go to place whenever I need auto body work done to one of my vehicles!
