I came out of the second session feeling much worse and felt it caused a setback in my journey instead of moving forward. I was offered platitudes, parroting and generalizations nothing concrete or no direction moving forward except give it time. I can't think of one thing she offered that was any help at all. The end result was, "I don't know." That is not expert advice. I was so disappointed and felt it was wasted money. She tries to be pleasant enough, but I didn't find any sincerity behind it. I am sorry I wasted my time with her instead of seeking genuine expert counselling. I now have wasted money, and will take time to recover from from the experience of meeting with her as she just messed me up worse. So disappointed as I really looked forward to talking with a counselling and moving forward.

But I came down with a mystery illness this past summer and almost died. Dr. Karia (who is one of the most honest doctors I have ever met - to the point where he'll even admit if he doesn't know what a particular disease is or what causes it) SAVED MY LIFE. Pro tip - if you do have to go to the emergency room, go to the clinic first to get papers drawn up. It'll save you massive amounts of time, especially when every second counts! Dr. Karia made sure I got the care that I needed. I'm going to be really sad when he retires. I'll also be sad when Nurse Donna finally retires and shoves off to Victoria. She's such a sweet lady. Thank you, Dr. Karia and the Staff at Heritage Medicentre. You saved my life and I will never be able to express my gratitude enough. Thank you for "just doing your job :)." Love, This stubborn lady who would've caused her own death with her own stupid stubbornness to haul ass to the clinic.
