My wife and I stopped into location for the first time. Normally it's super busy and the line is always long. Today we noticed only two vehicles in line and we whipped in quickly and got in line. The two vehicles ahead of us ordered and received their order very quickly. I ordered medium size Sicilian Smoothie (blend of strawberries, pineapple, and coconut). It was good and filling! I came out of my massage appointment and needed some coffee. I spotted them out the corner of my eye and decided to stop over. I wasn't sure what to get so I checked out some Yelp photos. I was hungry and while their breakfast sandwiches sounded really good I wanted something like, like their chocolate muffin lol. The staff were super nice. I ordered that and a White Mocha Latte with Oatmilk. I will say their seasonal pumpkin flavors sounded really good but I wasn't in the mood for it at the moment. The muffin is superb, very moist with choco chunks baked into it. The drink was very good. You can definitely taste how fresh the coffee is. Definitely worth revisiting for other items. read more

After days and days of Starbucks not getting their drinks right, I told them to try Ellianos out because I love their coffee and the price is great! My sister in law got a medium iced Carmella with extra whip cream and extra ice. My brother got a small hot Venetian vanilla creme. Let me say, my sister in law said "this is too good to be true!" She loved every sip of it and was very impressed and satisfied with her drink. My brother really enjoyed his and loved it! My chai tea was amazing as usual. Everything here is just so good! We had a great coffee experience at Ellianos. We had to wait 30 minutes to get coffee (getting in line and placing order and getting the coffee). INFO TO KNOW...this is a drive thru establishment only...no inside seating. They had a great selection of coffees, both hot, cold and seasonal offerings. The coffees all tasted great. Dude!!!! My first experience was epic! I was hyped asf after drinking a large Carmella. That was my first time ever that coffee (espresso;) in general, actually did its job. Normally, it makes me sleepier from other companies or brands. Today, makes the third time visiting Elliano's in less than two weeks. The entire time while heading towards this area, I tried convincing myself to not stop by but... we obviously know how that went based on my latest check-in. LOL! Today's purchase consisted of their large (don't judge me) Carmella; and the sausage, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwich. That sandwich was either that darn delicious or I was hungry asf. Or, it could have been both. LOL! After visiting for the third time, I realized the staff at Elliano's Coffee Company's attitude never drifted. I love coffee! And I love how close Ellianos Coffee is close to me! There is always a line so you know it will be a quality cup made with love by the lovely and talented baristas each time. My go to is usually a large iced coffee with coconut syrup to remind me to start the day or end the day with tropic happy vibes. Its the only coffee bar that has coconut syrup in stock on the westside of town. If I am feeling fancy I kick it up a notch by ordering a mocha and coconut blended coffee. Its so good and its topped off with whip and chocolate syrup. Brownies and baked items are such a good pairing with coffee and whoever they source their baked items from.. the baker is fantastic! They also have breakfast sandwiches available which I have not tried but will do so maybe the next time I get up early enough for the line. Service has always been with a smile and patience. Sometimes when its too busy a barista will come out with an ipad to put your order in which is nice since they do not have a "speakerbox". Menu is easy to read and honestly, if you ask to sub or for items not on the menu they can accomodate with no problem. Sometimes I wonder if they offer a point system but I forget to ask. I saw a Yelper checked in to this place and I got curious because I saw the 5 star review! I mean, who wouldn't be??? Forced my husband to drive to this place even though it's out of the way. I'm so glad we did! This is now my new favorite coffee shop! I ordered the Iced Carmella with half of the vanilla syrup and hubby got the hot Caffe Breve. First of all, my iced coffee was fantastic! It was still a little bit sweet for my taste but I liked it! But I have to say that I will definitely come back for the Coffee Breve! It was like a latte but so much better! The difference? It has half and half, meaning half whipped cream and less sugar! Strong coffee with a little creaminess! Better get a large cup because you would want more! Sadly this is quite far from our place. For such a small location they really do make an amazing cup of coffee! I've seen this place many times as I'm frequently on Normandy Blvd however I had never tried it until the other day. The line of cars was wrapped In both directions and I was about to leave because I absolutely cannot abide lines and will usually not patronise anything where I have to wait for more than a few moments however, I was determined to try this place out as I had heard great things When I finally made it to the window I noticed that in order to speed up efficiency they had a young girl outside going from vehicle to vehicle taking orders. I enquired if they could make the mint mocha sugar free to which they said "yes we can." This was an absolute plus in my book As nonstop busy as they were they treated me wonderfully and I even commented how hard they seemed to be working. After receiving my coffee I tipped 50% because of the amazing service and friendly banter As for the coffee itself it was everything that a mint mocha should be and I will definitely be going here again. read more

I've passed this coffee shop on so many occasions and my little brother swears on this place. I have to give it to them on the dual drive thru and when it's backed up they send someone out to grab orders that way it's ready when you get the the window, since they don't have a call box. Let's just say their iced coffee and hot americanco was a bit underwhelming. I was expecting a large when I ordered a large but it was the size of a Starbucks or Dunkin's medium. OK! Why are the drive-thru and/or the kiosk the best places to get coffee? Been asking myself this question for a long time. I found Elliano's right here on Yelp! In looking at it and reading about it, I felt it was time to test their skill on my favorite beverage! The white chocolate frap (which I believe they call "frozen"). I was excited to be here as I've been wanting to try it for the last couple of weeks. But it quickly became a blur for me! I had fantastically friendly service at the window! The employee (my blur made me forget to get her name) answered all my questions and I got signed up for their rewards card - it will take a while to get my freebie- have to drive out of the way to get there. But nevertheless I wanted it! She added my first stop to the reward card - greatly appreciated! This white chocolate frozen was supreme! I would say a tad too sweet but as long as I can taste the coffee, I'm happy - and I was able to. Before I left the area - my blur came back as I had to set my maps app to find my way home - so I got on the road an smacked myself in the head halfway there because I forgot to do my Yelp check-in!! Oh the frustration of being me! Look, in all areas I look for greatness in a coffee outlet (especially one that appears to be a ma and pa shop) this one, at least for today, epitomized greatness! A nice change up from the usual chain coffeehouses. We came years ago and got a frozen lemonade that my son and other half said was the best lemonade ever. I asked about it and yet, it is not on the regular menu anymore. They do have items like this come and go. So that is reason enough to make a stop when I am nearby. I have only ever had the Milano Mint coffee both hot and iced. I love everything mint chocolate. So yes, I am biased. I like this combo because I don't like my iced lattes very sweet but I do enjoy some flavor in there. Your taste for coffee will change after visiting Ellianos. This very unique franchise is incomparable to some of the big coffee names that you'll find all across Jacksonville! It's in a bit of an interesting location, not close to my neck of the woods at all, but I still find myself driving all the way across town for a yummy Carmella or a black House coffee now that I've discovered there's an Ellianos here. I come from a small town in Georgia where I was lucky enough to be employed by the local Ellianos for 4+ years. I have to say that my visit to this location today really brought me back to my teen years as a barista. The Carmella tasted as if I went in and made it myself, just exactly how I remembered it.
