Dr. Sharobim sent my 13 month Grandson home after diagnosing him with a " cold" he said. He then…read moretold us to "give him baby Advil and push fluids. He'll be fine " 8 hrs later, after doing as advised, the fever got progressively worse. The Advil couldn't break the fever. Then his little lips started to look blueish ! I immediately called the ambulance. After all was said n done the hospital Dr. diagnosed a " Severe ear infection " and we where told that he was likely minutes away from convulsions! Needless to say I am not going to let this go. I'm absolutely furious . DO NOT GO TO THIS CLINIC!!! In my opinion he is totally incompetent and should not be practicing.

Waste of time due to their lack of effort. After visiting…read morethe Ajax Harwood Medical Clinic twice (with two separate issues) I will not be returning. My first visit occurred due to something getting in my eye. The doctor barely looked, didn't use a light, didn't flip my eyelid over, didn't use drops, didn't lie me down, but instead, simply told me to go put a cold compress on it. A cold compress is the doctor's version of "i have no clue". My second visit occurred due to white spots on my tonsils and a sore throat. When coupled with a fever or night sweats, this could suggest strep throat. The doctor said she didn't have time to do a culture swab. Who says that? That's your job! When looking in my throat, she said she couldn't see white spots, but maybe that's because she didn't even use a tongue depressor to get a good look. Lack of professionalism and effort. I'd sooner recommend you consult WebMD than visit this slip between the cracks of medical school.

Dr. Sathiamoorthy is the WORST walk-in EVER!…read more I personally do not go to a doctor, walk-in or my family, when I'm sick unless when every single fibre in my body is telling me so. Having moved to Ajax, and with my family doctor an hour drive away, I decided to visit Appletree for the second time today. The first time I visited was last month. All was good. I was prescirbed an anti-biotic. Took the medication as instructed. A month later, this nagging cough never subsided. My fever is in and out, headache continues as my fever. Today, I told so called doctor the same thing but this time, I mentioned about the aches in almost my entire body. As supposed to trying to listen, the words that came out of his mouth stunned me. He said that "I gave you the medication. There's no way that nothing has changed." Dumbfounded as I was, I accepted another prescription from him. He said "just go and visit your family doctor" (good advice Doctor!). I've been to some Appletree walk-in. The doctor I've seen would take time to take your blood pressure, check you physically, etc. Dr. Sathiamoorthy I think only know how to use a stetoscope. He took my blood pressure but the cuff was loose on my arm. I did not feel the inflation at all! By the way, he does not even know what a head rush is! With all the breathing he made me do...yes...with his stetoscope on my back and chest...I told him to wait because that just gave me a head rush. He said "what's that?" LOL!!!

I've been coming to Glendale Medical Clinic under Dr. Charania for 23 years, as has my entire…read morefamily (and some friends of ours as well). That right there should speak for itself. Dr. Charania is a great man but he's an incredible doctor. Dr. C isn't the kind of doctor that will simply throw medication at a problem; in fact he's the exact opposite. He takes the time to get to know his patients, their medical history (for the purposes of my physical, he was able to write down all the pertinent family medical history FROM MEMORY) and will actually examine the patient. Dr. C will sit and stare at you, and while it may seem odd, he's actually carefully looking you over. He's looking at your eyes, the color of your skin, your posture, every little thing that can contribute to a diagnosis. I could gush about how great he is but perhaps a few examples will illustrate that he's more than just a regular doctor. My father was ill, feeling under the weather and he went to see Dr. C. Within minutes of seeing him, my doctor had told my father he needed to go to the hospital because he suspected he had internal bleeding. How did he know? Because my father's fingernails had gone grey. That along with a number of other symptoms took him to the right diagnosis - and he was correct. My father was treated at the hospital later that day. A friend of mine fell at work and his wrist didn't feel quite right after the fall. He had an xray done near the site where he fell but it came back fine, even though he still felt something was wrong. I took him to see Dr. C - he felt around his wrist and commented that it felt like there was a bone missing. Took a look at the original xray and saw that there WAS a bone missing. A tiny bone in the wrist had completely shattered when my friend fell and it took Dr. C to notice it - the hospital that took the original xrays didn't catch it. I have many many more instances of times where Dr. C's attention to detail and knowledge have helped myself and my family but I then you'd get bored :) This is a doctors office that cares .Rehka at the front desk is amazing at bloodwork; I've never EVER gotten a bruise when having my blood taken. Only when I get it done elsewhere have I ended up bruised and regretting not going to her. You can usually get an appointment the same day here, if not the following day and its rare that the clinic is closed besides on holidays. Be warned, Dr. C will tell you how it is - he has a great "beside manner" but if something is wrong with you, he's not going to sugar coat it and make it sound like its no big deal. Can't say enough about how great this clinic is, 23 years of service and I have zero intentions to move anywhere else.
