I loved this place the moment I walked in the door. The selection of books left me wide eyed and…read morewith a long wish list. I didn't have the chance to look through the full store. I saw more as I was walking out. The space is warm and inviting. I bought two books that were signed by the authors, one of which was offered to me when I brought an unsigned copy to the counter. I preordered a book from a local author who is scheduled to speak here and I'm so excited! I have always loved books but this shop reignited my love of shopping for books. Online shopping may let you get the book you know you want, but Francie and Finch provides you with options that might intrigue you enough to try something new. If you love books or like to support local, check this place out. Also, we're currently practicing social distancing. You can order online (including books they don't have in stock), get notified your order is ready (this part is important), pull up to the designated parking spot, and give them a call to get your order brought to you.

Love browsing around in this Barnes & Noble, especially in their bargain book areas since that's…read morethe easiest and fastest way to discover new books and authors I might be interested in. I don't generally shop from the regular priced sections since sometimes you can find better prices elsewhere, but again, it's fun to take time to browse around and look for covers that might catch your eye. I do wish they had a designated area for all of their chairs for when people want to sit a bit to peruse. It's so awkward having them in the aisles and try to look on a shelf right across from someone sitting there who pretty much has your backside right in their immediate field of vision. The cafe can get a bit crowded, but not overly so to where you're uncomfortable or can't hear yourself think over other people's conversations. I've come on Saturday mornings with friends and family to catch up and our group of 6 could sit peacefully and usually had no problem finding a table. For the most part the drinks I've ordered have been good, but sometimes there have been a few misses. The spinach and feta stuffed pretzel is my go-to snack when I'm there. The only reason that I sometimes shy away from buying things is there are some cashiers who are a bit too heavy-handed when it comes to the membership program. There is one in particular that is pushy to the point where it seems like badgering, and honestly I avoid going to the check out if I see they're working because I know I'm going to get bugged about the membership. Some associates I feel can get too loud when it comes to their personal conversations with each other on the sales floor, and while I don't mind, it could be bothersome to others who are shopping and don't want to hear about the political leanings of the employees. Besides all that though, there are some associates that work there who are incredibly polite and friendly, definitely five star employees. They give you a kind answer when you tell them you're not interested in the membership and finish ringing you up. Overall, it's a laid back place to shop books and enjoy a coffee drink. Always like heading back to browse even if I don't buy anythng.

As soon as you walk in and smell the books it just puts you in relax mode. Huge selection of books,…read morescience projects, audio and novelties. How can you not love Barnes & Noble!

Barnes and noble is amazing. This location is convenient because it's located in a mall. Providing…read moreplenty of parking and things to do outside of the store including; eating at restaurants, continuing your shopping elsewhere. This location has always been clean and organized every time I visit. Employees are upbeat and helpful. The cafe stays packed with fellow book lovers or those enjoying some peace and quiet. There's a huge section for the kiddos and toys for purchase as well. If you need to buy a gift, the journal section has so many trinkets and fun gift ideas. Sometimes they have items for sale too!

Sad. This is the worst Barnes and Noble I've ever seen. They keep getting rid of bookshelves and…read morebooks, opening up more floor space -- but they have taken out all of the chairs except for a handful in the cafe. I'm not sure why they wouldn't use all of their square footage (including the shambles that used to be the music section) to rearrange the store with chairs to sit and look through a book (plus expand the cafe seating.) I will not buy anything at a bookstore that forces me to stand around while looking through books and magazines. Combine that with their small and dwindling book selection, and I have pretty much abandoned this place in exchange for online shopping. That's too bad because I would pay a bit more to buy locally if it were a properly managed store.
