My visit to this…read moreSephora at St. Vital Centre was the fastest that I've ever picked up this gift -- a day after my birthday. I was at the mall and had just met up with a couple of friends. I decided to check out the mall afterwards, which ended up being several hours. I saw this Sephora, so I dropped by to pick up my gift and browse. It's set up like your typical Sephora store. I used to visit Sephora far more often when it had its own Formula X nail polish. I loved it. It was long-lasting with a ton of colours to choose from. Sadly, the line got discontinued and it meant that I stopped shopping here. I do like lip care. I tend to get the moisturizing lip balms. They last a while, so you don't see me picking them up every couple of months. I've been into products that diminish dark spots and brighten your skin as of late. I have a few spots on my face that need help. Caudalie has a line of creams that interested me. I got a birth month kit a few years ago and I liked the products that I got to use. I also saw this jet lag overnight cream. Is it a gimmick? I travel and jet lag can be an issue when I'm travelling longer distances. Slathering on overnight cream isn't my first thought when I'm jet-lagged or want to prevent it. I just was sleep if I'm exhausted or am trying to adjust to the current time in whatever city I'm in. The woman who helped me at the payment counter was extremely nice. She asked for my phone number associated with my Beauty Insider points. She found me in the system and immediately noted that I could choose my birthday gift. She walked me through the options. I chose the Youth to the People gift. It had a cleanser, moisturizer, and dream mask. It has Sephora's clean and planet positivity seal of approval. I also got a cherry vanilla lip sleeping mask. It was something different to try out. I paid with a credit card. All went well. She placed my gift and lip mask in a small Sephora bag with handles. I thanked her and happily left with my goodies. I like the Youth to the People set. The cleanser came in a glass bottle. It leaves my skin extremely clean and cuts through my skin's natural abundance of oil. The moisture cream and dream mask hydrate my skin a lot better than most products, without irritating my skin or clogging my pores. It's a great line and I'm always happy to discover new products that work for me. The lip mask is pretty cool. It allows my lips to hydrate overnight when I'm not eating or talking. I don't use it every night because my lips aren't dry in the summer, but I can see my using it more in the winter. I had a positive experience at this store. She was so helpful and took her time helping us find the right concealer and foundation. She was so friendly and made sure we were happy with the product. They even allowed us to walk out into the sun to make sure the color matched perfectly (with my un-purchased bag of stuff too - oops!) I am happy that my Beauty Insider transferred over from U.S. to here! Love the location and the staff!
