I got 4 different flavors: Key lime/cream cheese icing, lemon cake/strawberry icing, chocolate/butter cake swirl with chocolate icing and red velvet/cream cheese icing. Since I was putting together a little office shindig, I presented the flavors to my coworkers and let them know they were guinea pigs for this particular business lol. The winners were the key lime and the swirl cupcakes, by far. The cakes were very moist and not overly sweet... a cupcake for grownups, if you will. The red velvet was a little stiff for me. I find this to be true of most red velvet cakes so that's not something I would consider to be a "negative", exactly. My personal least favorite was the lemon/strawberry combo. It wasn't bad by any means. That cake was still very moist but I felt the flavor could have been a little bolder. Both the lemon essence and the strawberry icing were so subtle that I had to try and taste what flavors they were supposed to be. But overall, my coworkers and I really liked the cupcakes!
