Wow! We camped there one night. The lounge was packed. I can see why. Great folks and great prices. Love it.

However, I was very surprised when we started unpacking and found there were very few outlets in the room; FOUR to be precise and two of those were at the desk area, one of which was occupied by the clock radio. One side of the bed had NO outlets. Period. In this day and age with cell phones, tablets, iWatches, CPAP machines it is IMPERATIVE that there be an abundance of outlets. We both wear CPAP at night and that isn't an option. So I headed out to the desk to see if they could supply me with an extension cord. Fortunately they had ONE. That was it. Otherwise I was told "there's a Super Walmart down the road". Anyway, we're all set up for the night. And the room IS clean. There isn't a lot here in Mountain Home as far as hotels and they are all on the spendy side seeing as this isn't a resort. $150 a night is the most we've spent on our return trip and this is nearly 2x what I paid for a room last night and it HAD outlets at the bedside. Did I mention it was clean? At least it had that going for it. And it's right next door to The Wingery, a great restaurant!

This is a last resort place to stay if it's only for 1 night and you can't make it to boise. The…read morerooms are clean but it's just a run of the mill cheap motel which would be fine and would absolutely be worth it if the price was around 89$ a night because that is what you are getting except they charge well over 200 bucks a night and the room furniture is out of date, you get a tiny fridge that isn't very cold , and a microwave so small a paper plate will barely fit inside. There is a huge gravel lot out back that will keep your vehicle covered in sand and dirt. And the walls are paper thin and you can hear everything going on in your neighbors room. They cleaning ladies are are on the rude side and if you want breakfast you will have to go ask for a coupon to the restaurant next door every single day. And if you accidentally misplace your coupon... then try again tomorrow. They absolutely will not replace it regardless of the circumstances. There are two more hotel to choose from in this area but they are all owned by the same people and are way over priced. Next time I pay over 200 bucks a night it will definitely be in boise.

I arrived at 6:00 PM after driving for 8 hours. The counter employee told me that my room was next to where semi-trucks park. When I parked outside the room, several large busses were parked close by with their engines running. Hours later, their engines are still running. Not only can I hear them in the room, but they vibrate the floor where I'm typing on my laptop. When I went back to the lobby, I was told there were no other rooms available. I was told I couldn't get a discount on the room. She offered ear plugs, but that wouldn't affect the vibration from the busses. I don't know whether people from these busses are even staying at the hotel. The counter person said she wasn't allowed to tell me anything about the busses or their occupants. According to the fine print on the key card envelope, this hotel is "individually owned and operated." In other words, not owned by Best Western. I haven't been able to find who owns it and how to contact them, either on the hotel web site or otherwise online. It looks like I have no recourse. I paid $176.15 plus 5,000 accrued points for this room. This is not a Motel 6. I expect better accommodations and service at a Best Western.
