We were informed about the laws and regulations of the concealed weapons permit, talked about different scenarios and how to handle them in the most safe and effective manner, not only to save lives, but to avoid putting yourself at a huge risk of criminal and civil liability. The class was educational and enjoyable. We covered a lot of material in a short period of time, but I didn't feel like I was bombarded with information. The mood in the classroom is serious but with some humor. I did not feel bored or disinterested during the entire class. Dennis gave each of the applicants individual instruction along the way and again wherever needed. He took his time with me and answered all my questions. I learned a lot about guns and proper shooting form today! I feel much more confident now and am looking forward to coming back to the range for more advanced classes... I HIGHLY recommend Learn2Shoot and Dennis Mankin.

In the classroom, he helpedme understand why a certain situation was or was not a justifiable use of force. They keep their class sizes small, so there is more opportunity for personal instruction. On the range the instructor not only explains each exercise, but why each was relevant to defensive shooting. Additionally the instructor pointed out errors in fundamentals, making for an excellent marksmanship score. They offer other training in addition to the carry permit course, and I will be going back to USADefense for additional firearms training.

The range guys were also pleasant and professional. There are a couple policies in place that don't make sense to me, but that's a small thing, I suppose. The range is well organized and easy to use. The offer was too good. Maybe it was the friendly staff, maybe it was the K9 employee. (it MIGHT let you pet it). They were patient and knowledgeable. I can be a bit much and ask seemingly stupid questions. The background check took a bit (not their fault) and I only made 2 errors on my spelling which they helped me fix without issue. They snuck away and mounted the optic without me getting a chance to ask. I suspect they kissed it gently goodbye given the care I saw them take. A lovely older woman brought a firearm in to clean and an old BB gun that wasn't working. They couldn't fix it , but they did recognize the value of the BB gun based on its age and condition. I didn't have time to checkout their range on this visit, but I do plan on it.

The serial number on the butt of the revolver still readable but now I have to remove the grips in order to see it, where before the serial was visible when you opened the cylinder.
