While I really like having my eyebrows done here, getting in touch with them is an issue. The number on their site is wrong. I drove to the salon and called the number on the door and someone picked up. I told her about the issue and she didn't seem to concerned. I've had many facials over the years to help in my skincare routine. I was THOROUGHLY impressed with my esthetician Paulo T. He addressed my skin problem spots and recommended the appropriate plan of action. I'm one to be skeptical of new products/procedures but now a week after my facial with him, my face has never looked so good, blemish-free and the compliments from friends have been pouring in. The Salon has a pleasant lobby/waiting room and plenty of parking. I would suggest the salon could use some additional cleaning/upkeep... but that isn't my esthetician's fault. Elizabeth Grady in Braintree used to be located at the South Shore Plaza. I think because of construction they moved to this new Washington Street location. This location is closer to the Randolph/Holbrook line and in a little strip mall with other businesses. The parking lot is shared so it was pretty packed on a Thursday night at 6:30PM. Anyways, I swear by EG. Every other place I've gone to for a brow wax has been a huge disappointment. This new location is very nice, really clean, and I think (from what I could tell) has a new staff who are amazing. The wax itself is consistently done to perfection, the aestheticians always listen to exactly what I want, and check in along the way. The reclined beds are all new and they are heated! Exactly what I needed coming in from the 5 degree cold last night. The only kind of random thing at this location is the restroom in the back has a HUGE window with no curtain or shade. In the day I'm sure it's fine but if anyone was outside last night I have no doubt they saw my bare ass. read more

The location in Boston is very upscale & an absolute delight to behold and partake in. Unfortunately, the Braintree location doesn't live up to my expectations. The front area is nice and clean and the people are professional but I was dismayed by the lack of care and cleanliness of the room where I got my facial. The floor was sticky around the mirror and the underside of the bed and machines were grimy and dirty. The trim along the floor also didn't look like it was cleaned in a long time. The experience of my facial was very good and the woman who did my facial was very professional and did an excellent job. I'd like another facial but not from this location. read more

She answered all of my questions on how to target my skin issues, recommended procedures for the future, etc. she took her time with extractions which I appreciated as my skin was very clogged. Upon recommendations of a few others I made an appointment with Erin for a bikini wax. I got a phone call the day of to confirm my appointment which was nice and was greeted by name at the door even though it was my first time at Elizabeth Grady. Erin introduced herself to me, showed me to the room and let me know she'd be right back. The room was small but clean - this is def a 'no frills' kind of place. Erin was quick, skilled and made me feel super relaxed throughout the whole process. If you're looking for a fluffy spa where you're offered a robe and beverage at the door this is not your place HOWEVER if you don't mind the no frills approach and appreciate someone who absolutely knows what they are doing I highly recommend. read more

Went to an appt on 9/22 for a bikini wax. Was not happy with it at all. I have gotten several bikini waxes when they had a location in Brockton and never had a problem. The girl was very unsociable and did the front part 4-5 times and never did the inside of my thigh bikini line. I also had to ask her if she wanted me to pull my underwear back so she could actually do the bikini line area and she said if you want to????? I have never had such bad service and would not recommend anyone to go there for a bikini wax. I also had wax stuck to the outter part of my leg where she had the bowl of wax next to it. If your going to charge $32 for a bikini wax I would expect a good bikini wax and not a half fast job. So when I got home I had to go buy a wax kit and finish it myself the correct way, so was a total waste of $32.00 Do not go there for any bikini waxes!!!! read more

My girlfriend went here for a Brazilian recently. It was her first time and she was really nervous and scared about it but Kiley did a great job making her feel comfortable and made her wanna keep coming back. This place is absolutely filthy. i made an appointment for a facial and a brow wax. My appointment was booked with Brittany. As soon as i stepped foot into the room i noticed the floors were really sticky and the walls had black marks which looked like either dirt or smoke from a candle. The sheet that i was told to lay down in was stained and looked like it wasent washed and this girl clearly didnt know what she was doing because when she waxed my eyebrows the wax was way to hot and i felt like i was getting a 3rd degree burn, and there was still small hairs left . Then the facial started tha whole time she was talking to me about her wedding details which i could of cared less about and she was being to aggressive with trying to sell me useless products. At the end of the facial she continued to try to sell me products by placing them on the counter. i will never return here again! The whole point of my facial was to have a relaxing night to myself but instead i got bombarded with products and got my ear talked off about nonsense. Dont ever make an appointment wit brittany! If I could rate the Estheticians (sp) only I would give them 5 but the front desk staff brings this place down to a 3. I called to make an appt and was left on hold forever I had to hang up and call back. When I arrived for my appt I stood at the desk for a good 2 minutes before either of the girls looked up and acknowledged me. Once I sat down the girls at the desk had a full discussion about each of the staff members working and were making comments about how much product they sold or have been selling. Seriously? I already felt like I was interrupting a meeting now I had to hear about their staff. Anyway my service was fantastic!!! These girls know what they are doing and my skin felt fantastic. I wish that I could have paid my esthetician and left right away. I had to deal with the desk girl again. She was trying to sell me everything in the place and then wanted my phone number because I didn't want to take part in a sale they were having. It completely ruined my experience and I won't return because of it. If you do decide to go make sure you see Erin, she is wonderful. read more
